It was always fuckin amazing. The only thing is that he was compared against Coleman and Yates. It is hard to look excellent standing next to 2 of the best backs ever. But Kevin was not _that_ far behind, with great width, density.

Yea, Unfortunately, Father Time catches everyone but for 53 he looks great. He just shouldn't be on a BBing stage with some of the best in the world. I wanted to put this out a week ago; was just too busy to edit the parts I wanted to show. I'll be putting out a lot more as soon as tax season's over.

Everything about this video was wow!!!! the line up was crazy, all of them looked fantastic, Kevin's physique was on another level, his posing, back, chest , razor sharp shoulders, legs and those crazy triceps were just awesome and to top it up, the legend of the sport Arnie was commentating and even he presented the trophy you could tell he was appreciating his physique and kept looking at it and smiling... just perfect...oh not to mention Kevin's parents died from cancer so dedicating that was just amazing.

I'll have this whole show which is 90 minutes plus others with Levrone from the 90's available for download for $10 US in the next month. Before my time but I've got old magazines where they sold this show on VHS tape for $49.95. Kind of crazy people paid that back then.
I wish people would cut Kevin a break, the guys in he’s fifties. More muscle then all the key board warriors in their twenties
as a big kevin fan I am very disappointed with his second comeback. You need to see it from everyone elses perspective. We waited 2 long years for him to hit the stage and we hoped that with the heavy training and hype he posted on his IG page his legs would come in at lest close to this size again but no, he half assed his conditioning which is VITAL and key in winning a bodybuilding show. He came in big but bloated and just way off making his 2016 appearance look 10x better amid the small legs.
David F his conditioning was off. Get over it. Any true fan can sit there and see he looked like shit. He was massive but he was blocky and his conditioning was so off.
Kevin talked about how he didn't want to risk his health at his age- HE BULKED UP TO 260LBS YOU FUCKING MORON. Flex Wheeler competed in his last show with one, ONE fucking kidney, a FEMALE kidney at that. If you aren't willing to go that extra mile then why even compete? Kevin meant well but this was a terrible second comeback. Take the dildo out your ass and accept facts.
kevin levrone sold his legacy for cold hard cash, thats ok for me but its disgusting how he deluded his fans. And its even more sad that people still backing this guy up, but i guess those are the suckers that go buy levrone series protein xd

Physique as well as personality wise Kevin is my favorite BB of all time.

This version of levrone would have easily won the arnold classic australia today. Those line ups in the 90's were the absolute best, bodybuilding at its peak!
Will Gaspar couldn't agree more. I've only ever seen this footage in low resolution before but now this high quality version is out there, it's clear to see how big and peeled he actually was. This physique would have smoked anybody on stage at the arnold!

BrutalV difficult to compare, roelly is more massive. I would still give it to levrone though, the overall flow is better and the conditioning is spot on. I would rather see a comparison between this levrone and roelly at the 2010 ny pro, where he was less massive; but also had spot on conditioning. But I still see levrone having the edge, due to better structure.
Roelly's flaws is his muscle separation..always tend to have a slight film over the muscle. Kevin would of smoked him..no disrespect to Roelly. To me, Roelly reminds me of a modern day Markus Ruhl. Kevin was doing battle with Dorian..and no one on stage right now even matches Dorian's level of grainy hard dense muscle and mass with razor conditioning. Big Rammy is struggling to hold it together conditioning wise. Even Ronny in his prime would of smoked these guys..especially a 98-99 Ronnie where he still had an asthetic flow to his physique...forget about it. That era was one of a kind.

Thanks for the upload brother, I've been looking for a high quality video of the 96 arnold for some time. He looks absolutely incredible here.......257lbs, big, thick and peeled. Very sad sight seeing him at the arnold australia today. Tried to play the size game but spilled over and was carrying far too much water. The legs were definitely up but the widened wasteline and bloated appearance cancelled out any gains. It takes balls to do what he's just done and hats off to him for following through. Levrone is a living legend and had one of the greatest physiques ever to grace a bodybuilding stage.

I always thought that may have been the best his back ever looked. Usually Kevin had to bring it down to 245 to get in great shape. That extra 10 pounds in shape makes a difference.
If he looked like this every year he would have won a couple of Olympia

Unlike todays bbs, kevin looked amazing in a lot of the poses, mandatory or not. Side chest, most muscular, front lat spread, abs n thighs, front double bi, his signature side crab pose, that turning front/back double bi.
How i wish he still looked like this!
His shoulders-traps insertions are fantastic, and conditionig is ripped to bones, flex was good but his back dissapear next dillet and levrone

If this Kevin Levrone was on stage these days...he would be wrecking havoc all over the stage man. The level of conditioning, mass, symmetry and astheticism Kevin had in the 90's was signature 90's man. Guys in this era simply cannot touch that era. it will never be replicated. Still to this day cats still talk about kevin's 96 arnold package....he was a sight to behold man..one of the est packages he ever brought to the stage. I would say the closes thing to this package was his 99 british Grand prix package..where he was 257 on stage with this same level of conditioning. Man I sureeeee miss those days sighh
Can't believe I didn't see this insightful comment. No doubt with that body he would have beat everyone at this years Olympia. If Heath had his 2011 midsection it would be a battle but Kevin has a trait you are talking about that only a few bodybuilders have had. He is incredibly powerful looking with huge muscle bellies but incredibly aesthetic at the same time. Think of any bodybuilders that have both. They usually have one or the other. Flex is amazingly aesthetic but doesn't have a herculean look. Not on the same level but I thought Arnold prime; like in 1974 looked powerful but pleasing to the eye aesthetically & not in a gay way. People have made statues of muscular men for ages & people gather & enjoy the art. When Arnold posed in prime shape his muscles just expanded; a word we used to say was, He has pop too his muscles.

If paul had trained with dorian they would have been unstoppable one and two , yates said it was only levrone he was a little worried about they trained and kevins back in 97 got good. I Belive if kevin did have went all in in all aspects he would not he healthy today , look at lee haney ,vince taylor , jay cutler they are pure bodybuilders and did it smart . Dorian pushed a bunch of them into the wooden bed with the freaky side

I was just writing that in another comment. I don't think his back ever looked this muscular & his back double hangs with Flex's if doesn't beat it here. He usually ripped up at 245. I've heard this or seen it written many times by people at the shows back then. He had 10 pounds more muscle here & at the 2016 Olympia DJ said a 1996 Kevin would win the show. @@KCDarin that 97 Finland GP he looks even more impressive but the lighting was alot better and most of the footage has a an off ratio to it, so he looks wider than he was.
Kevins problem was that he rarely put it together.He was either huge but not ripped enough(96-99) or small and ripped(92-95, or 00 and after)

Hey Matteus, Without doubt Arnold has been one of the most charismatic men of all time much like a younger Ali and Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) is very charismatic. Arnold has had it into his 70's.With Ali we never got the chance to see but I think he would have been captivating later in life except for his disease. I think there are a very few hyper gifted people with that trait. Many gifted & talented people with some charisma but very few with ultra charisma. It could be a burden too because people expect something interesting, funny, captivating when these people have any platform. Jay Cutler is not very charismatic but people love the guy for different reasons. He has a huge fan base. Kai is an artist who was very shy on camera 10 years ago. Very Shy. He's not hyper charismatic but people are drawn to his underdog but philosophical way of communicating.

No quads no hams no glutes no abs under developed triceps under developed shoulders chest that overpowered rest of the body, the guy was a mess. Won his olympias by outmassing the rest of the competition cause back then there was no competition.

Levrone really did have a great physique in the 90 he had the prefect look and attitude too go with it!!.. He was my motivation when I just started bodybuilding!!.. Wished he never did the come back.. As the new generation will remmber him. For his last shows when he wasnt at his best..

He was actually 257 pounds, not 255 and he went back down to 240 pounds for the 1996 Mr. Olympia later that year.
