I believe flex had a major flaw. 1. He was relying alot on site enhancement. That is not apparent in Kevin or Ronnie. Just like Nasser and Milos, you could see a block look to the biceps and to the legs. Ronnie out massed him and out classed him getting the crowd involved. Kevin, was just overwhelmed in this video.
Yeah Levrone never had a back on the level of any of the other serious challengers. That side chest is one of the best poses by any bodybuilder ever, but as soon as he turned around he was out of the contest.
I really doubt Flex put SEO in his legs. SEOs ruin separation in the muscle its put in and Flex's legs were insanely separated. The video quality is not good enough to show how separated his legs were. The reason I believe Flex did not use SEOs to the extent people think is because he was separated all over his body. I believe that if you have that kind of roundness to your physique even a little synthol makes the muscle look ridiculous. Its mostly obvious in his shoulders though.

This has been the best contest for the level of all Athletes brought on stage. All where at their all time best ALL . Too bad Dorian from 93 was not there too. The contest is pretty close. Like never before. Especially between Coleman and Flex but the side chest and the lat spread clarify who is 1st and who is 2nd. Kevin looked awesome too but from rear mot in the same lever of the other 2.
I love big Ron....but that decision was a rob, maybe the biggest upset in culturism history. Flex Wheeler had the best body that year!! look at his abs and then look at Ronnie. The difference was huge!!!
Flex was aesthetic as fuck with that mass. Thats hard to achieve. Bumstead would be the only one on track to even come close but would need at least 30 more pounds of muscle on him and more genetically sculpted arms. Flex has the perfect balance of symmetry and sculpted dense muscle
Ronnie has that medieval armor look to his shape. Every pose is just symmetrical and freaky. An unbeatable combination of conditionining, size and a dense strength to his physique.

Coleman made everyone look small and less conditioned. He was huge, full, shredded and symmetrical. No one had a chance in the history of bodybuilding and it's 2023. Phil heath maybe could have beat Coleman at his prime but that's a big maybe.
