2006-2009 Hyundai Sonata simple hack to remove the instrument cluster. This by far is the easiest.

I tried using a belt but found this paint roller tucks right under the cluster, rotates up to hook and pulls right out much easier. This will get you access to replace the check engine light. Mine was fried, so I traded it out for the air bag bulb so I could pass the emissions test.
