I managed to acquire a 64 Custom 3/4 ton recently. 305 v6 and a granny geared 3 speed....From what I can tell its mostly orginal and in good working order. Drove it home 4 hrs on the freeway. 😍
I'd like to see this done again. With modern GMC and on that same locations. By the way i aquired a 62 1000 stepside long bed and quite a project ahead.
The narrator mentioned an automatic transmission, but the truck in the slides was a 3 on the tree! If I remember right, most 1966 pickups were still manual transmissions.

You got yourself a drivable classic
1966 was the final year for that design. A new body style came out for the 1967 model year.

You won’t get a quality sales person like that nowadays. It’s all a quick sales pitch and then financing and then……”next”…..off to the next customer.

Haha! I noticed that too! Car salesmen always gotta try some BS!

nice looking truck............
Was I supposed to turn the page every time I heard the beep/ding thing? Yea I'm that old
If you were that old you'd remember this from school.....😆
I personally feel the GMC with the quad headlights looked better than the Chevy.
I have a 63 with the 305ev6
