Actually it's a good idea to add a section in the back, so the tech will rest on it when pitched. That will help with vertical recoil, which messes your aim way more than horizontal.

One thing I have been using is the Zero Point Gun A.K.A The Anti-Grav gun. Seriously, shooting an anti-grav field on the ground, inclining the tech and then using the boosters is sooooo good for mobility

Haha don't worry, I don't drink more than 1-2 times a week, normally once mildly like the late night I recorded this just to finish the day If my insomnia is killing me, and once during the weekend with my fiancée and/or friends. :)

17:45 You can add like 2 GSO 1x1 armor plates to the back (one in right / left side) that will "dig into" the ground when angled & completely nullify the recoil. (but it will also stop you from adjusting the sideways-angles later).
Or use upside-down GeoCorp Scoops that digs into the grown only when firing (is usually NOT fast enough to prevent the initial recoil from knocking of your aim a bit).
But honestly, you usually don't need to adjust your aim, since you will be attacking the enemies outside their "Ai-turn-on-range" so they are basically stationary targets.
At the front of the tech I’m going to have some lighter weaponry at the front.

thats an interesting tech, i would like to see more of this.
(the flying through battery trick in particular)
i have some minor improvements to suggest though:
-put some hovers into the front to help the gyros lift it up.
-if you have such problems with re-aiming after every shot from recoil movements, try adding some of those movement-preventing/stabilizing gyros (no idea how they are really called)
if you really want to make a working battery-lift-flight based tech, try getting it stuck in the back, or add lots of forwards thrust to counter the wierd backwards forces.

BOI very important! knock an opponent over, then shoot them with the anti gravity gun, then when they use build beam, they continuously go up until the anti gravity bubble wears off. VERY GOOD IDEA FOR A TIPSY TERRATECH VID! also, the AG bubble (anti gravity bubble) follows the block that the bullet hits, so when the build beam activates, the block is moved up, and since the AI releases build beam very fast, it just launches up from build beam momentum. I just tested this so I don't know everything, but basically, look at WHAT block the AG bubble hits, then hit THAT block with the sonic lance or shotgun.

10:12 Add a radar, then you can use the radar-markings to for aiming, by adjusting the aiming to hit where the outer radar-ring is you only need to align the enemy-radar-dot on the ring & rotate towards it & you can be fairly sore to hit it (provided the enemy is on roughly the same elevation hight as you have sighted the tank for).

If you want to add an "iron sight" to it, then the GSO? *small Tow Ring + Cosmetic Red Horns* makes a really good sight.
Fist you need to find the proper distance between the ring & horns, both in X & Y axis (in regards to your techs intended firing angle & expected impact point (basically, move them around until, both back / forth & up / down untill it's "good enough") ).
Place the ring nearest to the camera, and the horns further away, sideways so both horns align as one when looking through the ring (the ring is mostly there to roughly guide the camera to the proximate location for finer aiming with the horns) when done correctly the shots should land where the tip of the horn(s) are pointing.

Tipsy Terratech should be a legit series. I don't mean like ok get drunk like everyday for a video I'm saying like maybe once a week, or however much you drink everywhere and feel like playing the game. Not enough to kill drinking for you not killing the game and making you never want to play it again. You know that happy little medium.

Lathrix you should use the venture tracks and auto cannons to build a companion that follows you around for when you use techs like this.
I legit kinda want to grab my legs and steer myself into the sky with them, sounds like the best controls for flight ever.
