This is the best fiction movie there is like if you agree
I know critics may have panned this film, but I loved it! the story line made you give a care about the characters. The action sequesnces were amazing - and who knew you could do that with a WW2 battle ship? Slide and fire!
I did too. 🎉 pure Hollywood production, America first. But you have good time, good actors and nice pictures.
Add of pizza and a beer and that’s it.
Slide and fire? Really? Check out actual WW2 footage and see if it was ever done. You can do all sorts of stuff with CGI.
Yeah...you can't do that with a battleship. You'd severely damage it or sink it. Same goes for aircraft carriers and even destroyers. To much weight and strain on the frame work that if it doesn't sink by trying it, you'd have to, at best, decommission and scrap the ship. That's why CGI is a thing.
I have watched this movie several times and I will never get tired watching it over and over again.
Missing is the scene where the USS John Paul Jones, used NOAA (National Oceanography and Atmospheric Agency) to detect water displacements created by moving alien ships so as to determine their locations and set them up for destruction using guided missiles and torpedoes.

IMO. the only good part of this movie is when they Finally get on the Missouri. The rest of the movie just blows.
There is a big issue in that movie: it is incoherent with itself.
Those "droidecs" first cut through the battle post external armor like butter (it's little 40 cm of hardened steel) in 1 second
Then it spents like 10 seconds on a door. This door is more like 5 cm construction steel.
That is not the same league of armor. If I'm being honest - that's two different sports.
