I would love to see a military expert reviewer who watches movies like this and says ( in his opinion) what medals these guys could get. I mean lets get real. Medal of Honor as a start, but this guy honestly just stopped the destruction of the planet.
I love this scene, where they are humping that round down Broadway aboard the BB, they conspicuously do NOT show the big YELLOW track on the over-head (for a traveling chain hoist), designed to move heavy things LIKE AMMO!!!!!
Or on the internal communications where they talk about the aliens on a certain "level" of the ship. Any sailor would be calling what deck they are on.
In one scene where they carried that round 500 feet by 6 guys. Would it not had been easier, if they got 4 or 5 pipes from engineering, and roll that shell over them, with the rear man passing the last pipe forward to the first guy to keep the process going?
but i laughted my ass watching this movie how ww2 sitting at display have live ammo in them? and hgow ww2 ship s better than modern ship and how a handicaped human beats shit out of alien XD
@@hubertgizinski7962 Ships like that were designed to take a beating and get home, after still killing their targets. Modern ships are designed around not letting anything hit the ship. They don't have the armor to take hits and survive like cruisers, battleships and battlecruisers did. Not much will stop 2100 or 2700 lbs of projectile dead in it's tracks. High Explosive are 2100 lbs. Armor Piercing, Capped weight in at 2700 lbs.
The main reason i put up w/ Battleship 2012 is because it gives me Bayverse Transformers Vibes, especially w/ Steve Jablonsky's badass music score Im just sad Michael Bay himself didn't have any part in this. He'd do a way beyond better and badass job w/ the action and explosions than Peter Berg

Depends on if the rules of combat are enforced or if the rule of survival is applied to the war. This movie quickly forgets rules of combat for survival.
