During the era where all Filipina beauty queens gave their best to at least bag either a Miss Friendship or Photogenic awards becoz getting into the semis was very hard till Miss Universe with Miriam Quiambao in 1999.. then again after that from the whole decade of 2000s until 2010 with Venus Raj and the rest was great again for the Philippines..but when it comes to Miss International Pageants...the Philippines always placed in the semis...

Philippines had many semi finalists placements in the 90s but i think Alma had the highest placement since she was also the miss friendship.
