*This hairstyle actually played to her advantage. The Japanese are known to admire minimalist, yet still ethereal, beauty. And you notice that her hair, in a simple ponytail, isn't even too neatly bundled, there were some strands of hair here and there, which also played to her advantage. The Japanese appreciates little details like this, they love minimalist arrangements of things, with a little chaos, but still very understated and beautiful. "The need to appreciate diversity in order to understand our global community!" What a timely message for the cause of world peace from the Philippines, Miss Kylie Verzosa, the Miss International 2016! Again, congratulations po!!!

Kylie Verzosa, one of the Filipina winners that is part of the Philippines' streak of five straight years with a Big Four major international beauty pageant title.
I like what you said but watching her she looked tense and yet her strong presence made her win, i just watched Gloria Diaz’s video and it was more fun, anyway Congrats Ms Phils!
Ang ganda ng aura ng Miss international. Makikita mo yung mga candidates happy happy lang. Supportive sila sa isa't isa regardless of nationality. Tapos yung proud pa yung past winner ng MI sa pagkapanalo ni Kylie. Saya saya haha
All of the candidates are all happy for the winning of Ms. Philippines as Miss International 2016. They too agree with the results. Very well deserved!!! Philippines is Love!!
I wouldn't compare Kylie with Maxine. Kylie is perfect for MI. She is really pretty. She has the ideal face of MI. Maxine is sophisticated and has a stronger presence onstage which is ideal for MU. In Binibining Pilipinas, Maxine outperformed Kylie in my opinion. Maxine performed really well in MU let's not forget that. Her swimsuit and evening gowns were top notched and she was really stunning. Is it her fault that she isn't articulate in English? When did English become a MU requirement? Venezuela has the most number of wins and yet none of their winners answered questions in English. Why is it embarrassing for a Philippine candidate to use an interpreter? Would it great when the universe could finally get to hear the Philippine national language which is called Filipino, by the way, not Tagalog! Tagalog is a dialect not a language and yet oh so many Pinoys keep saying Tagalog is their national language. My fellow Pinoys couldn't even get it right. No wonder they are ashamed of their own language as they aren't even sure what their language is. Next time don't complain if another half Caucasian who couldn't even speak Filipino gets to go to MU.
Not only that, but a lot of Philippine pageant fans are bandwagon fans jumping on Pia Wurtzbach's and Catriona Gray's Miss Universe title success and not knowing Philippine pageantry as a whole.
Tagalog is a language. The Philippines has a lot of languages. The Standardised Filipino Language is Tagalog. There are other Filipino languages such as Ilocano, Cebuano, Hiligaynon etc.. Dialect is a variation of a certain language, for example Cebuano, Davao Visaya, Cagayan Visaya are dialects of the Visayan Language.
No doubt for her winning as miss International during her time back in 2016 because she has a total complete package to win the title in all aspects ; Beauty, Brainy, looking humble and have an authentic personality inside &out.

Kylie's far, far better than Maxine. She should have won MUP 2016 title. However, she gave a massive bang in this competition. She deserves to be hailed as Miss International.
@Jennifer Ramos Had Kylie won MUPH 2016, she would've faced an insane amount of pressure of trying to help the Philippines win back-to-back MU titles and helping the Philippines be the first country other than the United States and Puerto Rico to win Miss Universe on home soil. Kylie saved Philippine pageantry as a whole in 2016 by winning Miss International given the fact that a three-peat in Miss Earth was highly unlikely with Imelda Schweighart, the reasons I said about MU 2016 and Catriona Gray screwed out of the Miss World 2016 title. Kylie's MI 2016 crown helped the Philippines tie Venezuela for the longest Big Four major pageant title winning streak at four straight years which is now extended to six straight years when Karen Ibasco won Miss Earth 2017 and Catriona bouncing back from her MW 2016 heartbreak to win MU 2018.
