So many people here are bashing and commenting Bb 35's answer. In my humble opinion, I think she was brave enough to answer truthfully despite knowing people watching will bash her for it. I think she was humble enough to admit that and I applaud her for it. On the other hand, not knowing the government program came in with a serious blow to her and just shows that she has to be more updated with issues at hand. I agree with other people that as a contestant in this pageant, you are to represent your country so you have to know the current events and pressing issues plaguing our country. Sure Sandra Lemonon was too honest to tell everyone that she did not come across government projects pero hindi naman yon ang nagpatalo sa kanya. Natalo siya dahil sa sariling character niya rin at yung manner how she said it. Mas dinalian na nga yung question kasi inserted yung word na "government" so para kahit magpabulaklak na lang sana pero her honesty indicates more of how she is as a person. It means she doesn't really care to everything and everyone except herself. Beauty contest yan hindi naman kailangan matalino pero dapat may puso, malasakit at kawanggawa. At ito ang mga hindi nakita ng judges kay Sandra Lemonon. Kaya pala.

Don't worry guys, Vickie Rushton was set-up to be crowned next year. This was a strong batch, a lot of candidates are deserving to be crowned pero kaya di siya binigyan ngayon kasi wasted opportunity kung ibibigay lang sakanya yung other crowns aside sa MU or MI.

So many people here are bashing and commenting Bb 35's answer. In my humble opinion, I think she was brave enough to answer truthfully despite knowing people watching will bash her for it. I think she was humble enough to admit that and I applaud her for it. On the other hand, not knowing the government program came in with a serious blow to her and just shows that she has to be more updated with issues at hand. I agree with other people that as a contestant in this pageant, you are to represent your country so you have to know the current events and pressing issues plaguing our country. This is a wake-up call to the would-be candidates of the next Binibining Pilipinas, that beauty is just skin-deep and hollow without intelligence and a drive to pursue beyond your limits.
