The fact that the devs took the time to give every gun multiple reload animations is absolutely insane detail I've never seen in a video game except this one
There is various reloads for the guns in Crysis 2 depending on the mode for the nanosuit you’re using. Which is a neat bit of trivia I figured was worth mentioning. But 100% not at all common.

What i dont understand is why is it not the case in real fps games like Battlefield ? If a game that you play at 90% for the story can have 5/6 different weapons reload animations for every gun, then surely a real FPS game that you entirely play for the combats can too, instead of having the same animation that repeats over and over
@@mordor1779but no cyberpunk is special, the amount of details and work put in the game is incredible for a small team like cdpr and some people still shit on the game just because of their boosted ego and never played it.

johnny’s malorian was my go to for the later half of the game. in my own they perfected its weight and dynamics making it feel so satisfying to land headshots
Fun fact, the Malorian uses .577 Nitro Extress, so it's canonically an elephant gun

@@normal763 Despite MW2019 being way ahead of the league in quality (in this case animations), even many games after it didn't quite match its quality in animation. But Cyberpunk's did.
I find it hilarious how extra the metel revolver is, in front it has the revolving chanber, but behind it there is a Luger-esque thing going on
The revolving chamber is just another way to chamber bullet from the magazine. Lower chamber takes bullet from mag, upper chamber shoots, then luger lever extracts casing. Lower chamber roll up upper chamber roll down take new bullet
I really love the Palica smart shotgun, it can pull off some crazy turns to hit targets! I only wish there was an iconic version that had a longer target range or bigger clip. Meanwhile we got multiple iconics for certain other guns: 3 for the Kenshin, 5(!) for the Overture, 3 for Nue, 4 for Liberty, 4 for the Grad, etc etc =/

NDI OSPRAY looks like a fucking AA-wepon idk , its one of the couple weapons that i liked of the game.
Reminds me of the Barret M82A2, which if I remember correctly, was initially intended for AA use. Slap on a moving sight, bigger mag, and make it burst/auto, and you have a monster.

It's crazy how over half these guns are extremely memorable and how they all still have great, satisfying animations.
So many RPG shooters have subpar gunplay while this was CDPR's fist attempt. It's not quite Destiny 2 level but it's still extremely solid and above average
Am I the only one who just really likes Liberty? The long smooth barrel, several iconic variants and it's pretty strong in its own right.

SPT32 Grad seems to have a weird issue.
the moment he checks the chamber, the muzzle brake is static in its position and doesnt move with the barrel as it seems to be attachd to.
and when the last shot is fired the barrel is pulled back, but the muzzle brake seems to just float.

Missed detail: A-22B Chao might be based on the Welrod (WW2 British Bolt Action Pistol)
Corrections:
-I would argue the A22B Chao resembles a HK P21.
- The Ticon resembles a Vector SDP.
-The Shigure is based off the UMP but also the SMG-II prototype, because of it's front end and overall shape.
- The G-58 Dian is just a weaponised Nerf gun.
- DS1 Pulsar is a combination of the TKB-022PM and also the 7.62x39 OTs-14 Groza.
- The Warden seems to feel more like the Chinese CS/LS06 with the helical magazine, given both the warden and the CS have the mag on top.
- The Kyubi seems to have the pistol grip shape of the Hoffman Tactical SL-15 Orca, 3D Printed AR-15.
- The VST-37m Pozhar has the firing mechanics of the Sjorgen Intertia Shorgun.
- The LMGs with the side mounted trigger were inspired by the PAW-20.
The guns are brilliant amazing detail put into them

Bruh I really wish we could have some sort of dual wield, even if via mods. Some of these weapons have some sick looking designs. Also didn't knew some of the manufacturers of IRL they were based on. Hell, didn't even knew some countries had manufacturers at all lol

Try to attack arasaka goons. They may have it.
Arasaka guns are typically named after Japanese swordsmen, all Militech guns except for the Ticon and Crusher are all named after either American towns or Greek gods

The stupidest thing about the game is that there are no suppressors for sniper rifles.
Except that of Panam.
This game did me dirty. They designed one of the coolest-looking rifles in gaming history named Nowaki/Masamune and gave it the lamest firing mode ever - the 3-shot burst and the sound is lame as well. They could at least give it hyperburst so that it sounded more futuristic and felt like so (like G-11). Instead I can't use my fav rifle because it shoots like shit.
How do I know if this gun was made in Arasaka or Militech?????

@@easytanksgaming3238Some of them are not that evident, the DR ones are from Darran Polytechnics (India), Burya and Metel are from Techtronika (Soviet Union), Unity and Liberty are from Constitution Arms (US), Copperhead is from Nokota (also US), Chao and Zhang are from Kang Tao (China)
I really think they should’ve added modern 2023 weapons, and, in game, they can call them “old school” or something like that, kind of how we look at the M1 Garand and such today. Would’ve been a very nice addition.

But the designs of most of them are fucking awful.
These MFs really went into "r/cursedgunimages".
You got unnecessary bullpups with magazines so far behind on them that there is literally no room for the bolt. You have magazines so misaligned that they'd have to teleport the rounds through the gun to function and don't get me started on the Grad.
You know what?
Even the animations aren't good.
Look at the Malorian Arms animation in slow-motion. The bullet is somehow inside the trigger group, then magically slides INTO the bolt. That is not how weapons function.
When you fire, you can see THE NEW ROUND ENTERING THE CHAMBER FROM THE BARREL!

I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, but as I gave it some thought, I decided that even that wasn't worth praising.
I might get hated by what I'm about to say...but you guys are starting to forget that this game had an awful launch?
The launch sucked ass. But I can give them the benefit of the doubt now that it's fixed. Which is EXACTLY why I didn't bother getting the game the entire time. Now I'm considering it when it goes on sale
