An amazing talk that identifies that everyone needs to be aware that they are the main defense against cybersecurity attacks for the organization they work for. It is so true that most organizations tick the "I have a policy for this" box and carry on as before.
I absolutely love this video. Mr. May is my favorite speaker. He is so down to earth and speaks to the people with common sense information. Thank you so much Rob Patricia
So sad that we live in a world where we have to trust less but clearly this is true - cyber security is to big an issue for all of us. Thanks Rob for your insightful talk.
Really eye opening, This is easy to relate to real world scenarios we are exposed to when interacting with and in the cyber world. "We know everything about you Martin!"
Great presentation and delivery. So relevant in today’s world. Enjoyed viewing. Well done and thank you for sharing your knowledge on an important subject.
Stop blaming end users and employees. Poor IT practices lead to breaches. Yes, end users need to have common sense understanding of cyber attacks but educating them is just one of the aspects of cyber security.
This isn't a case of blame, the issue is too many people rely on IT being the solution, to your point, IT is a part of the solution, as is employee education. You can have all the best IT practices in the world but if a helpful member of your team opens the door and invites a criminal in those defences are negated.
Hello. I'm an academic librarian with Harding University. I'm contacting you on behalf of one of our College of Business Administration faculty members who would like permission to embed this video as supplemental instructional content in his online course. May he have permission to do so, providing of course that no alterations are made to the video and that attribution is given to Rob May as the originator of the material?
I think it was well done and gets to the point on a topic that should be taken more seriously and that is our part to protect our cyber privacy.
I am going to make everyone in the company watch this (at least six times!) and share it far and wide. Thanks Rob.
Brilliant - thanks Marian - let me know if you want further cyber training too.
