It's that old adage. If you have to tell someone you're _______, you're not. Be it the boss, savage, genius, etc. I've never seen it not be true
You should never be using silly words to describe yourself as some kind of alpha. Let others use them to describe you if they want to. Your job is to take action towards your goals consistently and efficiently. Plus, being humble will keep you from doing overly dumb things to prove yourself. Great video.

Ive literally had to grind the last year and a half to make sure my family was taken care of and a lot of days where from before sun up til after sun down, 100 hr weeks....but at the end of the day, I agree, its what I had to do, and theres no time to pat yourself on the back. One of the most sound and normal voices in all of sports.
At 5:14 coach Kav says it best. We reward inefficiencies every day! We look at the guy or gal who works 70 to 80 hours a week like they're some kind of hard worker or dedicated worker and in reality we're giving them this title through rewarding inefficiencies. whether it's the guy or gal who spent 30 of their 40 hours in superfluous meetings or the guy or gal who's gobbling up OT because the company can't get their work done during the week, it's all the same. I see people in the gym for hours and i mean HOURS doing nothing and then bragging on how long they spend working out. If you can't get in and out of the gym in an hour or hour and a half tops your not working efficiently.....and you're not beastmode because of you lack of efficiency!!!

I'm sorry but I understand what people mean when they say these things. If you push yourself hard you may refer to your self as a beast or a savage(obviously not in the literal sense) because that's the feeling you get for doing what 90% of this country isn't doing. Compared to them your a "beast" or a "savage". Grinding is me working a 27 hour shift on a papermill shutdown so I can provide a better life for my family when most of these weak bitches work 40 hours a week in an office sitting in a chair. Feeling like a boss means you are being the boss of your life not letting life be the boss of you and your paying your dues by doing what is required to get the results you want. Just because some old guy doesn't get what younger people are saying doesn't mean it has no validity. And just because some people use these terms in inappropriate circumstances doesn't mean there's something wrong with these terms when used correctly. #FACTS
