Part 2 reaction coming soon??? To me this works better as an album then their first album. Teleharmonic is in my mind one if the best songs Tom and Johnny have ever written. Stunning and deeply meaningful/moving
Finally! So glad you're back. The songs really unlock themselves with repeated listens. There are a couple incredible songs in the second half. Looking forward to your next video!
I like your abstract description of Radioheads sound ( beautiful and disturbing etc.). Loving the Smile right now. I like the jammy meandering kraut-rocky direction. Similar but still distinct from Radiohead. I think you'd really like the band Can (and anyone else here who enjoys when Radiohead/Smile get all hypnotic). 70's psychedelic droney, percussion driven music. I'm certain Radiohead members must be fans. It's missing Radioheads beautiful soaring vocals and melody's, but they have the interesting and delicate grooves. "Future Days" & "Tago Mago" are good places to start. Even though Can didn't use computers or much electronics, it's almost like they invented electronic music / IDM before the technology was available. They're often cited as a large influence on early electronic artists. Great for setting a certain background vibe too.
Honestly, Wall of Eyes, the title track, is probably my favourite song of the year. When it released as the first single I actually found it underwhelming! Grew on me massively when the album released.
I've been watching your content since your first Radiohead reaction, and with no insult to your early content, it's been really cool to see your commentary and observations mature and refine!
Really, really like both albums. Many moments on those records I likes as much as Radiohead or even more so. I’ve been saying I think Thom and Jonny are in another golden age of songwriting. New songs they’ve been playing sound awesome too. Really looking forward to LP3!
Man i just saw this, and i am already waiting for the second part... PLEASE PLEASE include the songs "Don't get me started" and "The slip" also songs from this album that were released later on. Bealieve me, they are AWESOME.
Bye the way, only "Don't get me started" was oficially released by the band, but you can find Fan Vynil rips videos from "The slip"... that song specifically is so cool. Saludos desde México
@@NightwalkReal love your honesty, you say how you feel. It's refreshing, man. Thanks. Saw The Smile live back in March, such an exhilarating experience.
For me it’s another great album but not as good as the first one. It’s also a little on the short side. They have several other tracks they’ve been performing live that they could have also included. However this is a minor point. It’s another album that’s at least an 8/10
Weird place to ask kinda, but are you gonna play and possibly record your playthrough of shadow of the erdtree? It'd be good content for the second channel. I'm excited for it, counting down the days until release.
I’m thinking of it, I’m not sure how I’d present it though. I suppose an edited video would probably work best, as I’m not really a playthrough type of channel. I’ll definitely make some rankings though. I’m so pumped! Playing through all the games again in preparation for this.
Even though ALFAA has more songs, it feels like WOE has a higher quality to it, as well as a more consistent flow track after track. Don't get me wrong, I loved their previous album, but this one seems like they've figured out the soundscape they want to explore, whereas the previous one was more an amalgamation of ideas put into a single album. Both are fantastic though
Me too, just because it has more songs I really enjoy, but agree with others that Wall Of Eyes feels more consistent song to song and has a more cohesive sound for an album.
HUH. Reckoner, House of Cards, Jigsaw Falling Into Place, Videotape?! If that's weak, idk what would be considered strong lol. Also, this album's second half has Friend of A Friend and Bending Hectic!
I think In Rainbows is pretty much steady quality right through. There is more energy up front of course. But then Jisaw Falling Into Place just keeps growing on me and probably takes the cake. Reckoner is just beyond beautiful too.
@@jameshannagan4256 In Rainbows is by no means weak. Replace House of Cards with Bending Hectic and you have the best Radiohead album to date. Maybe even the best album ever.

You have no idea the amount of stuff I just abandoned to watch this video. Been waiting for it, it's like sharing an album I love with a friend.
So glad to hear this! Made my day. Glad to share with you
Totally!!
The band are dropping albums quicker than you’re dropping reaction videos 😮
Hahahaha, tbf he owed us nothing. Sure he'll drop it in good time
Read The Room is genius! One of the best songs to come out of Thom and Jonny (& Tom) in a long time. Instant classic.
Honestly?
Maybe you should read the room
@@KonradSchK Haha I've got a huge log I just shat out
I saw them live for the first time back in March and they blew me away
Teleharmonic is one of the prettiest songs I've ever heard , it has a tropical vibe
Excited to see what you think of Bending Hectic
seeing them live in Amsterdam this year was a dream come true!
Finally! So glad you're back. The songs really unlock themselves with repeated listens. There are a couple incredible songs in the second half. Looking forward to your next video!
I missed you!! ❤❤❤. I LOVE the album, I hope you too. Bending Hectic it's just amazing.
Kisses from Argentina
The title track is one of the best things I've ever heard

That is one thing that the Smile has in common with Radiohead all the songs are growers.
That groove that starts in the middle of "Under Our Pillows", so good!
I definitely want a part 2! Super excited to see the rest of your reactions
Part two please!! you´ll love Bending Hectic so muuch!!
part 2!
Really looking forward to the part 2 here. Hope youre doing well mate!

Under Our Pillows is sp trippy. I love it.
*Read the Room* was the music I was most looking forward to since they played it back in 2022! 🧡
Really, really like both albums. Many moments on those records I likes as much as Radiohead or even more so. I’ve been saying I think Thom and Jonny are in another golden age of songwriting. New songs they’ve been playing sound awesome too. Really looking forward to LP3!
OMFG IVE BEEN WAITING SINCE THIS CAME OUT!!!!!!!!!
Loved seeing your initial impressions of some new (not)Radiohead material, as always. My hype for your reaction to Bending Hectic is immeasurable lol.
Yes do the second half. It's all amazing

“Where we going?!”
Thom- “Soon you’ll be there” ❤
I missed you😊 going to watch asap
Great points/thoughts made. Looking forward to part II.
Glad you enjoyed 🙏

Part 2 plis. You´re an album behind hehe. Cheers bru
Part 2 any day now I assume....
I think you will love this record the second half is even better (to me). I love the Beatles vibe on this album.
At times this record seems like the Beatles made it when they were in their 50s or formed in the 90s.
Bending Hectic is my favorite song of the decade so far, but I didn’t like the album near as much as A Light for Attracting Attention.
Part 2 ? 😂
So did you just listen to half this album and decide never to hear the rest?

DO A PART 2, the 2 best songs on the album are in the second half
I like the second album better than the first one but they're both good records.

I preferred their first album
Yep more songs...

Teleharmonic though..? Mmmmm
i didn't quite like this album as a whole, but i loved Teleharmonic, Read the Room and Friend of a Friend
Similar to In Rainbows, the second half is weaker than the first.

In my opinion it is a combination of The Eraser, HTTT, Amnesiac, and with bending Hectic a small part of OK Computer
Any record with Jigsaw and Reckoner on it can't be considered weak.
