Haha, I was there too. Did you think the mixing was a bit off at times? The desk was off the side of the stage, is that normal? Like, when Thin thing was playing, I couldn't hear Jonny's guitar bit very well.
Agreed. Really think Thom and Jonny have been doing some of their best work these past few years, whether it be solo, collaborations, scores, and The Smile.
I gotta include In Rainbows but yeah man. It’s fucking exceptional. Teleharmonic is just…. Everything I’ve been wishing Thom would lean into, lyrically, melodically, it’s like they made this album designed to my specifications.
Don't get me started which is a new song the smile have played live sounds like it has some good potential. So does just eyes and mouth. And maybe Even instant Psalm
Thanks so much for this, Dean. The guitar in "Read the room" for some reason, reminds me of Beethoven, classical music, in the opening riff. Very cool, along with the time signature, well spotted.
It is very difficult to judge Thom yorke’s work on a 1st listen. It is all so original and different. It usually takes about 3-5 listens to really here and above all appreciate Thom’s true genius. And also start hear Jonny’s and all the other musicians incredible contributions….I’ve been a Radiohead and Thom fan since 1995….Easily the greatest band around today and possibly ever, and Thom….he is the Einstein of music 🎼
I saw Sons of Kemet live - absolute fantastic band! Love them! Check out all of Shabaka Hutchings, Tom Skinners and Theon Cross' solo projects aswell. Including Owiny Sigoma band, Skinner was a part of them and they were supporting Atoms for Peace on tour back then.
Almost a lost am station out of a mythical country somewhere between the Congo and Mali, North Africa just in from the smell of the ocean and the hot sand west coast. It just has a lofi veneer with a hint of of rush on the outro of Read THe Room.
Thanks as always for doing this for us all :) By the way, drummer Tom Skinner released his own album a year or so ago. Check out this track: ruclips.net/video/GJ18xrukpzA/видео.html

Justin Hawkins said it best... it's like theyre making music for people who appreciate music.
I saw the thumbnail for that video but havnt watched yet. That's very true.
there are people who don’t appreciate music?
@@costcoexecutivemember my wife plays music just to fill the silence.

I’m obsessed with Teleharmonic.
Same !
Same
Read the room is my favourite of their songs I think. Saw them live in the 3arena a few days ago and they opened with this. Awe

I'd enjoyed this album more than many Radiohead albums. Its loose, jammy, jazzy, math rocky, kraut rocky
Agreed. Really think Thom and Jonny have been doing some of their best work these past few years, whether it be solo, collaborations, scores, and The Smile.
Wall of Eyes. Instant classic. So so good.
I reaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllly like teleharmonic
I literally just listened to this entire album earlier today for the first time. I really love Wall of Eyes. Very jammy.
I really think this might be Thom and Jonny's THIRD magnum opus after OKC and Kid A...it's THAT crazy next-level impressive.
You’re really gonna act like in rainbows doesn’t exist
I would also include A Moon Shaped Pool
I gotta include In Rainbows but yeah man. It’s fucking exceptional. Teleharmonic is just…. Everything I’ve been wishing Thom would lean into, lyrically, melodically, it’s like they made this album designed to my specifications.

Loved this ! You have such a positive vibe 💚 Bending Hectic and Friend of a friend are my favourites so far.
i've been waiting for this video since the album was released lol!
Cool! What an album. Just editing it I wanted to hear it all again.
@@deanwolfechannel i know, right? great album! and amazing content, Dean. keep it up!
Great reaction Dean……it is a beautiful album. I’m still weighing up if I prefer Wall Of Eyes or A Light For Attracting Attention
@@benfarrellathome1786 I'll be curious which you pick.
I liked the second one better than the first.
Awesome album !!!
Love "Read the Room!"
It's terrifying and comforting at the same time.
Thanks so much for this, Dean. The guitar in "Read the room" for some reason, reminds me of Beethoven, classical music, in the opening riff. Very cool, along with the time signature, well spotted.
Read The Room could be a Yes or King Crimson tune.

They are remarkable and inventive...a true modern wonder, doing amazing music.
I have no idea who this drummer is but this album has the tightest most creative drumming I've ever heard in my life
He has a band
Absolutely beautiful art. Literally the best album I've heard for years!
Yes, it feels like art as much as music

A new The Smile record just came out today! Definitely worth reacting to imo it’s quite enjoyable
great idea.
kinda reminds me in a way of the later Talk Talk records, not sonically necessarily, but the feel of it
Oh, Sons Of Kemet is definitely a lovely listen. Great band, GRAND.
Amazing band, going to see them 20th march Glasgow, can't wait 👍
let me know how it was
@@deanwolfechannel will do, thanks for the reply 👍
