I’ve been falling in love with this album for the last two weeks. It brought me to your channel - love how you engage with music, a pleasure to see! Look forward to seeing more man. Also, you should hear their second album ‘Wall of Eyes’ also released this year. It’s exquisite. (you burped with a delay as I was typing this, which was the cherry on the cake 😂)
Thanks for the company tonight mercurial, thoroughly enjoyed that, will definitely be adding it to the collection! The remarks about referencing other music to describe music had me in stiches 😂
You KNOW what you need to do Mr. Six. Geordie Greep ( black midi ) has blessed us with his powerful new solo debut album, you must React to it, I BEG OF YOU, THE PEOPLE BEG OF YOU. Cheers 🍺
Honestly surprised you haven't had a video on them yet but Magdalena Bay's Imaginal Disk is seriously a must listen for albums that have come out this year! Hope you get a chance to get around to that record at some point, been a fan of the channel for a few years now and am still loving the energy and creativity you bring to these videos!!
I was born a year after WinXP was released but my family computer still had Win95. I still remember that chime after waiting 5 minutes for the damn thing to boot
All three smile albums are great (although wall Of eyes is my favorite) it’s Radiohead song writing without obsessive need to perfect it all before releasing the material … makes it more fun in a way … still want more Radiohead but happy to have 3 albums from the smile
Thom Yorke is very famous at being very dark musically and Lyrically. Thom Yorke is also very famously good at making songs sound happy but with dark Lyics as well.
I love the vids mercurial master! I was just wondering if you'd be willing to check out "The New Sound" by Geordie Greep. Great album, seems like something you'd love.
Someday you should listen some Car seat Headrest bands music they are good enough for me that i bought all albums available on Vinyl and I love the band.
Jonny Greenwood is married to an Israeli and plays with Jarak Qaribak in his band so Dont Get Me Started might be a pushback on criticism of the Smile for not being openly against the Gaza genocide, other artists like Nick Cave have similar baggage by being politically neutral.
She's not just an Israeli, she's a vehement zionist and she doesn't even try hide it. Not saying that makes Jonny one, but it's an important detail to not leave out
I do a proper 'unboxing' and my version of 'discussing the lyrics' on Patreon.
For me the first The Smile album is still the best one. "Speech Bubbles" and "Open the Floodgates" make me super emotional
Interesting! I actually think each one has been better than the last and I get emotional from Tiptoes, lol

Shit I remember windows 3.1. The smile are fuckin mega. I have seen them live three times now. What a band
Saw them live earlier this year and it was insane. They previewed some songs from this album before it released there and i was mind blown
Thanks for the company tonight mercurial, thoroughly enjoyed that, will definitely be adding it to the collection!

Dude just perfect I just got this album and its great. I love Thom York and the Smile rocks.
The Cutout album is the third album from the Smile and the first 2 albums are great as well.
For me their “wall of eyes” album is the best
Sir where do you always find those shirts of yours 😂
I know! Ha ha!
@@mercurialno6you should listen to The New Sound by Geordie Greep btw who is black midi's lead singer and guitarist
I'm a massive Radiohead fan but for some reason The Smile hasn't done a lot for me yet. I need to keep spinning it to see if it eventually hits me.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
No where near better than Radiohead this is just 2 older musicians having a great time producing decent music
Please react to sleep token - take me back to Eden

Nop
Слишком много трепишься
You could just listen to the album.
Dude you really need to not try and upstage the music. Talk in between tracks
? The music is simply a backdrop for what I have to say. If you want to hear people talk in-between tracks there are plenty of other channels. Plenty.
