What an incredibly bizarre journey this was. Listening to this with you, going through eerily similiar emotions the whole way through. Bear in mind I've listened to this album before and loved it, but not like this. Very grateful for this experience. All Love.
Yes Jon’ Jigsaw Falling Into Place is my favourite Radiohead song of all time. So glad you had that visceral reaction to it. A perfect combination of groove and dark power. Let it out!!

@zachariejouineau6034 Radiohead albums don't really sound like Pink Floyd or the Beatles too much besides their willingness to experiment. Kid A is probably their most experimental and "strange" album. If you want a more movie soundtrack type album, with an emphasis on strings/piano, I'd recommend A Moon Shaped Pool. Jigsaw Falling Into Place is legitimately one of my favorite songs of all time...even as a teenager I knew it was one of the greatest things I've heard.
I can never get tired of In Rainbows. Thom's vocals make me lose my mind every time I listen to it. OB's wailing background vocals on Wierd Fishes are the best backgrounds ever laid down. This entire album is fantastic. No skips on this album.
Nude might be the greatest song ever written. The composition is amazing, the structure is so beautiful and the building and release of tension is masterful.

This album, for me, gives me the feeling of late summer nights, being in love, melancholy, depression, hope... It has such a warmth to it. It's like the soundtrack of being in the womb, not knowing what to expect from the world, preparing me for what I'll face in regards to both love and suffering. It's so warm and cozy and yet sad and dark.
Bro. I have been listening to reactions to this album for the past couple of months and seeing this come out now is insane to me. Love your reactions! One of my favorite albums ever.
“Feels like ‘No Surprises’ if it had no concern about being radio-friendly” for Nude is a great description…now wait till you get to How to Disappear Completely lmao
Never seen art have such a profound impact on someone, magical to watch ngl, whenever I feel myself falling into "another place" as you put it my brain catches its self and I become like hyper aware again, it's extremely frustrating ngl, so it's very impactful for me to see someone else clearly go through so much from an album ❤️
The best Christmas gift ever, I’m not even over exaggerating. I know you’ve heard a lot of there previous big songs, but OK computer and Kid A are so worth listening to start to finish. Hope you enjoyed Christmas with the family Jon
Knowing Bodysnatchers was one take makes it even more incredible. As the recording ended Thom collapsed being taken to hospital as he was extremely unwell at the time. They left it as is, his whole hysteria recorded in this incredible sound. This album is pure art
This might forever be my favourite album of all time. I discovered it in 2021 and other albums since have come close, but In Rainbows is truly something special.
The type of reaction this album deserves. They released it as a "pay what you wish" during my 1st semester of college right at the loneliest point of my life up until that point. It became my safety net walking around a big new city and even now after thousands of listens, it still feels like coming home
Your life is about to get a lot better mate, great Christmas present to yourself. All songs are at least 9/10 but nude is my personal favourite, one of the best bass lines ever.
What a wonderful Christmas gift! In Rainbows, and OK Computer are two of the most gorgeous albums I've ever heard. I don't love every song on In Rainbows, but the songs I enjoy, I truly love. I grew up on The Bends and OK Computer, and it took me a while to get into In Rainbows. It's still insane to think that they put this album out essentially for free. You could choose your own price and download the album. It was shortly after The Smashing Pumpkins released a double album in torrent form as a middle finger to the music industry. The late 90's and 00's were a crazy time for rock music. The mainstream was dying and a lot of bands were sick of the way they were treated by their labels. I refer to 1998-2001 as "the dark ages" of rock music. It was the dark ages of music in general. The scene was very dry until The Strokes popped up, and changed the popular sound. Bands like Radiohead, NIN, and Manson adapted. Bands like The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Muse, and others changed the direction of rock music. Nude, All I Need, Weird Fishes, and Video Tape are the stars of the album for me.
