Knives Out (film) is named after this song. The director is a Radiohead fan and liked the image the song name evoked.

It's always funny how different people's reactions can be. Life in a Glasshouse is the highlight of the album to me, like an organic, natural reward for all the electronic horror that preceded it.

I love the new editing choice, backing the summaries with live show footage looks sick

Like Spinning Plates is my favorite Radiohead track, by a good bit. It, Pyramid Song, and the closer save this album for me. Three brilliant tracks and the rest is just ok for me.

Literally took my 8 years for Spinning Plates to hit me, and now I consider it one of their best - once the muddy backwards chords final sink in, it becomes so great. OH! Ha, I wrote that before you did your ending review! But the time lapse goes for a lot of songs on the album....it wasn't till I heard Thom and Jonny Greenwood play "I Might Be Wrong" on acoustics that I fell totally in love with it. I recommend looking up the video to check it out. Glasshouse has grown immensely over the years as well. "Hunting Bears" is literally the only RH track including B-Sides, so 250 or so tunes, that I think I will never get. I like the way you setup your presentation. The next album, they begin to bring the instruments back more, though still plenty of weirdness. Then by "In Rainbows" they hit probably their most perfect stride of all their work. Glad you are back on these reactions! Peace/

Agreed, I think it's akin to the Beatles Tomorrow never knows, like most Radiohead songs you have to give it time to tune into the intricacies.

@@corneliusvonbarron4877 Great example. 'Rubber Soul' was far and away my favorite Beatles record for years, and I knew the critical acclaim and general wisdom was "Revolver' was recorded nearly back to back, and was ultimately the better or best of all. I gave it tries, background in the car to sink into my brain lobes, and then yeah, one day "Tomorrow Never Knows' after 4 or 5 listens just smacked me across the face. I do still prefer 'Rubber Soul' but it may be sentimental from a road trip I first really dived into it. I was one of the shameful many who wanted OK Computer Part2 SO BAD, I couldn't comprehend Kid A, so much so I'd skip National Anthem and Idiotech immediately always and just rest on "How To Disappear' and 'Optimistic'. I liked Amnesiac more, though much weirder, a few more classic RH songs and guitars, but after that I ceased listening to them for 6 yeas and dove deep into tracking the blues from today to the 20's. Then one night, randomly, In Rainbows: From the Basement came on, I was blown away - here was MY band, once again making the greatest of the great music. I was back in, and then revisited old albums I missed and love them all, B-Sides included, except 'Hunting Bears' my only truly confusing track. I imagine my journey is not the only similar one. Now I think to myself - "Dude, you skipped 'The National Anthem???' Nut the best music takes its time to creep into your brain.

Life in a glasshouse is my favorite Radiohead song, it’s really special to me since it was the first Radiohead song I’ve heard, and after that I fell in love with the band.
Anyways, we all know how Radiohead works, you might don’t like now, but you will…. Oh yes, you will

at first, I was kinda hated on LSP too. It was, for me, too weird and was like, wtf were they thinking? After Hunting Bears and this? So at that time, I prefer Live version too. BUT
after listening this song many times, it grows on me. That weird feeling is now transforms into amazed feeling. This song is my top 2 in Amnesiac now.

I think you’ll really like Hail to the Thief. It doesn’t get quite the same love from fans as OKC and Kid A but it has a lot of great tracks, and the best opener of any Radiohead album in my opinion. Looking forward to it!

@@jameshannagan4256 Oh yeah In Rainbows is definitely top 2 for me with OKC. Only reason I didn’t mention it is because he hasn’t gotten to that one yet.
