I wonder if Putco has thought about putting a translucent or transparent center clip on the light bars? I know the black clip isn't very noticeable at a distance, but it would be nice if it was made out of a clear material.

Love the channel. Great video but I have a question. Is there a way to use these without the remote? I hate the fact that you have to turn them on with a remote. Can you not wire them directly to the headlights? Or the daytime running lights?
Thanks. Yes you can use can hardwire them in multiple ways. Fuse tap, wire tap, add a relay too if you wanted.
This has nohing to do with the putco blade but i noticed in your boost auto parts runningboard install they had a white start up sequence and here they are amber. Did you change them?

Yes. They are universal
Are they legal to leave on when driving.
Check your local laws but I have zero issues here since they’re essentially a marker light / daytime running light.

You seriously have to stop posting about mods and upgrades to the AT4 ... You're totally enabling me and I am doing quite a few of them to my truck as well, even though I have first to import many of those products from the US (Boost Auto Parts, Putco, ...) or Canada (Bright Source, etc.) to Europe first!!
What's stopping me from doing ALL of them is the fact that some aren't street legal here (or at least tolerated). Oh I wish I lived in SK where everything is possible!!!
By the way, I did not go for a Auxbeam controller (yet?) - maybe I should...
One question: are these bars noticeable when off. Or do they "hide" discretely in the grill like they're not even there? I think you do know why I am asking this... but I won't say it :)
The mismatch in light color temperature between the grill lights and daytime running lights looks really cheap. Poor CRI of the bolt on LED’s perhaps. Appreciate all the effort you put in, but the results just look cheap and tacky. Once you see imbalance of color temps in LED’s, you can never unsee it.
Camera problem/limitation not a human eye problem. Why project negativity? Just move on.
