Yes dealer is everything. Good point you can get a new machine at every dealership, it’s after the sale that matters. We have a large bobcat dealership 12 miles from us and have been great here in western NY. Looking at this exact same machine to rent, lease. Perfect size for our small landscape business . THANKS FOR THE VIDEO. DAVE
Looked at Bobcat and New Holland but chose Kubota because door opens overhead (instead of swinging out) so you can get out if the arms are up. Nice safety issue. Love the heat and AC and pilot controls. Also love air ride seat. We bought a brush mower too. Bought the farm next door with 60 acres of old pasture that needs brushing out.
I have an Lx465 that is a bit older than yours. It has the vertical louvres in the rear door instead of the horizontal ones like yours. It's got over 11,000 hours on it and still runs good. Lots of slop in the boom pins but some of those pins are $500 a piece now. I also have an Lx665 which is a lot roomier in the cab vs the Lx465 and it runs the snot out of a 60inch brush hog. Lx465 doesn't have enough hydraulic horse power to run one. You have great videos! Thanks for sharing!
That set up looks it would be good for mowing ditches. My youngest brother works on skid steers in Northwestern Wisconsin. I'm going to ask him about this.... seems like an awesome machine.
You can definitely take down some bigger stuff with that thing. I see most guys take them pretty big trees by raising it up in the mowing the trees from the top down. The tracks are nice but if you’re in cold climate it’s hard to deal with the manure and the mud getting frozen in them in the winter.
nice machine but i guess im old school always ran a New Holland back in the days and i like useing the boom with my feet and joy sticks for steering just what im use to i guess
You gotta be kidding, Bobcat got free advertising and they charged you for using their equipment? You can’t be in the selling business if you aren’t willing to compromise.

Thanks Dave. I was impressed with the lift capacity and how well it moved around. This was the first time I drove a tracked machine
Running that isn't work!!! That is relaxation to me!!!!
It was definitely a very comfortable work environment

I was surprised how nice those brush mower attachments do

Thanks for watching. Yeah the Lx465 is a good little skid steer thats for sure.
Nice outfit. I use to take out those metal post with that cutter lol probably shouldn't but you don't know until after it's done
Yeah sometimes those things sneak up on you.
Great video Mike. When I run a skid steer I like to run with the pilot controls. It’s much much easier. In my opinion. Keep them coming bud
Thanks Rick

I didn't do a ditch with it but I did a bank and it did pretty going on the bank
Nice shirt 😊 and bring that bad boy over when you’re done with it that’s a slick unit
Haha thanks. I laughed a couple times when I was adjusting the camera because all I saw was a closer shot of cartoon Andy on my shirt!
Hey Mike, how much is Grumpy paying you for the advertising 😂😂
@@tomhough3649 I owe him after having him watch a couple RUclips videos that were like car wrecks!
Pretty slick skid steer
Yeah I thought it was pretty slick

Thats what I was thinking.

Thats what I'm use to. I was most comfortable with that H pattern. It was the most like the older new holland
They make tracks that fit right over the wheels so buy the wheels and put tracks on if needed
Thats not a bad idea
They are the beast u can tackle 3 to 4 inch saplings
I wasn't gonna push it but I was impressed what I did take on with it
Nice that is Ganna be hand
It was handy that weekend
@@mikep7810 that's graet
We have 3 new Holland skid steers there great 1 is a l160 then l170 then ls185b I believe that last one is correct

They took care of me this time and have taken care of me in the past
I bought a bob cat hated that it
What did you hate about them?
Ryan @HowFarmsWork has a video or two of him chomping on some pretty heavy brush and trees with his, um, JCB maybe.
I'll have to check it out
