- Just outside of Dumaguete City sits the city of Valencia. Here you can find a ton of hiking options and waterfalls to explore. I did all of that and also had a chance to try 12 peso ($0.21) homemade ice cream. The kind filipinos in this video would not let me pay! I also took advantage of the public transportation in the area.

This area where the waterfall is is definitely way better, beautiful and clean as compare to the waterfall that you saw in Bali, Indonesia. It's nice to see that there are tour guides available also and it's safe for tourists as well. The one that you saw in Bali is dangerous to go to but this one is really way better

Zane what you mentioned as a gladiator event is what is called as "Sabungan" or a cockfight, it is very popular in the Philippines and is a form of gambling. Almost all major towns have a cockfighting arena, and cockfighting events are held regularly at least once a week usually every weekend or a holiday. Let me just mention that I love how you talk to your Gopro, like its your best friend.

Most all Motorbikes switch to mufflers from Thailand that are louder than just taking off your muffler. If you buy a motorcycle they’re very loud, but these mufflers that they buy from Thailand or twice as loud that’s why it’s so loud everywhere.
Try to check Forest Camp and other small eateries at Valencia when you come back there someday 😊 I recommend them. They are like hidden gems. You have to discover them yourself. They cook delicious foods and make refreshing drinks.
Also there is more to see in Dumaguete, like hiking places, hot springs, other falls, camping site etc. 🥰 I also recommend to rent motorcycle, it is more convenient, so you could travel farther in Dumaguete.

Negros Occidental, the third richest province in the Philippines always gets bypassed by visitors for some reason.
IF EARTH IS GLOBE AND IF WAVES & TIDES ARE CAUSED DUE TO THE ROTATION & REVOLUTION OF THE EARTH THEN THE OCEANS SHOULD BE EXTREMELY TURBULENT IN THE TROPICAL REGIONS NOT IN THE POLAR REGIONS BECAUSE THE FORCES OF EXERTION & EXPULSION ( CENTRIPETAL & CENTRIFUGAL ) WOULD BE MAXIMUM AT THE LARGEST SURFACE AREAS

You said that the food are good there in Dumaguette but I've heard in the other expats that the food in Dumaguette are garbage....
If one is not fond of cuisines with too much meat, fried anything and sugar in everything with a dearth of vegetables, then Dumaguete food (or Filipino food for that matter) could be considered garbage.
