Hello, hi there! You forgot about me! I am THE DECORATOR and I have played every single farm just to see how I could decorate them and design the layout of every single farm type. No mods I play years into every single farm. Don't send help, I live in the Valley.
Same fr fr, I’m doing my new palythru on the meadow lands farm since all my dam saves didn’t transfer when I transferred computers, I never went past year three on the other farms, just decorated and that’s it, I will strive to get 100 on this new farm and continue to use it till year 40 or something, unless there comes out a massive new farm like big map wise or something weird

this is the shit i subscribed for, i laughed my ass off, and as a forest farm player, my excuse for not touching grass is that i live in the suburbs. i rest my case.
as someone who only just started again with the meadowlands farm... I can say with confidence that it is my absolute favorite now... especially since its profits are absolutely insane, not having to buy a coop saves so much money that you easily make back and so much more far quicker than what is otherwise reasonable for other farm types outside of exploits
But the beach farm has an area for sprinklers. It was my favorite before Meadowlands because I liked the layout and once I got animals, I didn't need that many crops anyway. Plus Ginger Island exists as well.
My defense for the beach farm is that I don’t plant many crops on the farm. Once I’ve gotten the greenhouse and ginger island I stop dedicating space to season limited crops. There are a handful of spaces like the quarry repurposed for tappers or the buss tunnel repurposed as storage exist outside of the farm regardless of farm type for some of the larger possible obstructions. The only thing I can’t outsource would be the animals, so if you like the layout/aesthetic and are stubborn enough then the beach would be a reasonable choice late game for designers. Anyway I used to play on the forest farm because I liked the extra hardwood early on and dislike using the default aesthetic when possible (and thought it was a good layout for designing without forgoing the open space of the original) before switching to modded farm layouts.

I like the wilderness farm because I think it's pretty, I always turn off the monster spawn in the advanced settings before starting
I have no friends and I also love the 4 corners farm but mostly because I love the segments. It makes it easier to figure out a layout for the decoratively challenged like myself.
I like the hilltop farm for the early copper but the rock area is pretty useless later I’m also used to the layout and now the other farms confuse me

i use the quarry for preserve jars after year one- i dont need any pf the mining xp past that point so its perfect for that kind of shit (you cant grow crops on the quarry so yk)
dang that really fit me perfectly with the riverland farm also you can turn ur farm into the wilderness farm IN THE BEGINNING it is an option on the left side of the farm selection screen
I love the Four Corners farm because it lets me divide the farm up into different zones more easily and that makes my brain happy. I don't want to share with other people, I want to install a million mods and hoard all the space like a crop dragon!

It really is the best layout. We've got tons of space, but it's a bit spicier with the bluff and water.

It's all about max tillable tiles with the standard farm. More space means more profit
I’m a beach farm lover because i don’t use sprinklers. Not out of superiority complex but because I find them annoying to make a layout with, overly expensive and I don’t like growing that many crops. Once you upgrade your watering can the watering load is not horrible. I really like the stuff that washes up too. Also it’s perfect for animals I do basically nothing but animals once I have the money and materials for them. The meadowlands was the answer to a prayer I never knew I had.
My defense for beach farm is that i just dont really like farming and prefer to fish instead. Having saltwater in a place thats actually convenient to get to is absolutely fantastic. Seriously i wish they put a minecart on the beach i dont know why i hate the walk so much

As a beach farm lover, yeah I wanted to try it because I wanted to try CA's take on sprinklers, lol.
Still, made for a fun challenge! I enjoyed the care packages and especially the extra space. It was also my first true perfection!

This is so true lol my favorite ones are the forest and the beach farms, followed up by the river farm but it has a weird display for animals and I love having animals.
I'm playing in the new meadowlands type now but still haven't get used to it. Also I never tried neither the hilltop or the wilderness farms, they don't really call me, but I guess I should try them someday

I like the beach farm when i am choosing one of my two playable characters because i can place ghe crab pots and get my lobsters faster. 😂 I also only plant crops in the dirt patch but prefer raising animals instead of growing crops. I also like the meadow farm
I respect him saying we would survive but the hill is useful it looks nice when designed has more tiles than the forest farm has plenty of artifact worms for early game gives good geodes and copper before the mines open and it’s just nice ok it also comes with hardwood stumps which give a good early game hardwood source

I would love riverland/hilltop farms more if I could change the aesthetics of their bridges. them planks are ugly. I do like the beach farm in endgame, many many barns/sheds filled with those flower pots with the ultimate water retention fertilizer that means you'd never need to water those crops ever again. I do wonder if there's more space to fill with sheds/barns on the beach or if the meadowlands improves on it tho.

i chose it for my perfection farm because i wanted to get the Living Hat and iirc farm golems had higher chances of spawning there than in other farms with monster spawn activated........ i ended up getting the hat while whacking weeds in the mines LMAOOOO and i got it in year 2 😎 it's the luckiest farm type no cap
