I tried sacrificing the ancient doll, but it wouldn't go in. I realized that this was only in 1.6, and I was on console.

I love how a bunch of indie games like cult of the lamb and don't starve. Terraria and minecraft etc all have small references to one another.
Therefore mario is in the same canon as stardew vally.

I have seen some videos about the terraria x stardew collab but never heard of meowmere in stardew valley.
I feel like the main reason for them picking the meowmere is as in Terraria the junimo comes from a portal.
So maybe they stuck with the theme but had no idea how to logically give the terrablade through the portal so they chose a cat giving the meowmere
They could have just made it be a terrarian but I think they just wanted to be fun with the meowmere.

Thats not true, the galaxy sword is a lvl 13 sword doing 80 damage, this sword is a lvl 4 sword doing 20 damage, it is an early game weapon

Instead of the Meowmere, Stardew should’ve gotten the Terrablade, as getting the Junimo on Terraria feels more in-brand to Stardew, while the Meowmere is only really used late game, and though a good weapon, doesn’t really define terraria

My expansion to the idea:
It would require a universal pylon rather than a forest pylon, one that would open to a border between the corruption and the hallow, with the terrablade being thrown through the portal.
Obtainment method: Crafting the forest pylon alongside a bunch of random rare items. (I don’t know endgame stardew very well)

People usually use the Meowmere for a really short time before they make the Zenith. At least that's what I do...
You should be able to enter terreria and build a base or something
So they got an endgame weapon, we got 2 USELESS PETS
That isn't anywhere NEAR a endgame weapon. It only does 30 damage, while the strongest does about 100.

@@AVerySealishSeal I think you've missed the point, it isn't about the stats, it's about what was actually brought over from each game.
Stardew Valley got a legendary blade dropped by a eldritch deity who destroyed the order of the dryads (With only one survivor) before being sealed away.
While Terraria got a dumb little idiot apple fairy thing and a chicken that I'm pretty sure was being fed bottom of the barrel dirt cheap chicken feed and ̶p̶o̶i̶s̶o̶n̶ joja cola.

there is a similar easter egg in terraria, by fishing you will get the joja cola in terraria and if you give the joja cola to the dryad in terraria (there is a portal cutscene in terraria too while giving dryad the joja cola) she will give you the apple lookin thingy from stardew valley (i dont know the name) pet

The sword is... Weird. Stat wise.
Basically it always does maximum damage but said maximum is a bit underwhelming when you do get it

It's basically just the Bone Sword, but it has 0 base crit chance. It's only worth using if you've been very unlucky.
It's prolly a pretty cool vanity once you unlock the weapon forge.
It's an early game sword. Perfect for constant replay nerds
@Ambipie you can't get it until floor 100. Floor 90 will alway have a better sword, and by then you'd be at late game.

we literally went from sacrificing a doll to the lava and then a dragon giving you a crystal, and you have put the crystal in the wizar chamber to open a portal for a cat that giving you a cute ass lookin sword💀
This does seem… weird if you’ve never played terraria I guess.
Terraria goes from fighting a big slime, big eyeball, then a big worm/brain, maybe even a skeleton, to literal hellspawn gatekeeping the ancient spirits of light and dark, to then fight mechs, to THEN fight a plant for a key to unlock an underground jungle temple, then fight a golem there, and then some cultist guys appear at a dungeon, then you kill them, then you fight a rather normally sized magic cultist guy, uh oh looks like aliens from the moon are invading, you kill them and their pillars, then "Impending Doom" approaches and you fight moon Cthulhu.
Tl:Dr terraria's story is wild, and that's just boss progression

@@SveaDarkdragonin Terraria, go to a lake where you can fish up “trash” items (like old boots, tin cans and stuff). There is a chance you can fish up a joja cola from there. Then take that Joja Cola to the dryad to purify it and then a small cutscene will play that I won’t spoil
