Beautiful cover. Rhett, your rhythm choices and effects use managed to evoke the original's vibe without copying, and Tim's lead guitar work was downright buttery.
Great job all!! Once again, proof that Tim Pierce is by my book, one of the top 10 guitar players ever! He can play soft and slow to loud and mean and it’s all velvet to the ears!! 👍🏼
Love this! No matter how skilled you become as a musician, when it's time to find bandmates, you'll always appreciate a drummer who stays in the pocket without overplaying.
Tremendous. While Tim is getting deserved credit for his tasteful lead playing, Rhett's beautifully understated rhythm playing pulls it all together. Kudos to everyone involved.
Wow production top notch here, Tim’s lead work is really something else. Floats in and out effortlessly. Tough to get anywhere near Stevie but she served the song well 🤘🏻
Exceptional vocals, tight rhythm section and Tim. If only more guitarists understood that it's not the quantity of notes you play, it's the quality. Such perfect touch and tone.
Two jazz greats had comments about that (paraphrasing): the Count (Basie): it's not about the notes, it's the space between the notes Phil Woods: when I was young I wanted to learn and play all the notes, as I got older, I became more interested in playing the right notes than all the notes.
I know this is even a weird thing to say, he's not underrated - everyone knows this, but Tim is so dang good, it's nuts. All of the players were great. Thanks for this Rhett!
Dude...This is killer. It is too be expected with that cast of musicians...This is a perfect cover of a fantastic tune. I know you have to constantly find ways to be creative and make videos, but these sort of posts prove how much it pays off. You've been able to surround yourself with brilliant musicians and it should be a constant reminder that you have tons to offer that isn't just for the tube viewers. You are killing it. Well. Fucking. Done.
The band's lone No. 1 hit in the States. Hard to believe. Heart and Cheap Trick only had one No. 1 song, too. Stiff Competition (actual Cheap Trick song title) back then. 😃
This is one of those “deceptively easy” songs to cover. Everything is simple, but it is all very well balanced. It has a certain vibe. The right mood and mix is critical. You nailed it,
Every time I hear Dreams is coming on I think, “oh…so few chords, I’ve heard it all before.” 5 mins later I’m hypnotised, again, same as every other time. Has there ever been a better suite of guitar fills?
I know this is an original take on the song but the intention and vibe of the original is still present here. And to the man behind the kit! That pocket! Bravo to everyone
I was very astonished how impressive this video was. I was touched. Everyone who has "done that and been there" knows the excitement and joy. Teamwork at it's best. You could see that everybody, even the old master himself, gave their absolute best. 👍
Great track. Amazing vocal harmonies! Lovely chevalier dog. Really like the snare sound (I would have a hard time not to mix it wetter). And the two guitars not concurring but supporting each other! 👍👍👍
Awesome mix Rhett! At first I thought maybe the vocals can go up a dB and a half, but actually..no, it sits well nicely with everyone. It does feel like a dream indeed ☁
Wow! Not only is everyone right in the pocket, the singer's rendition is truly an ASMR experience. The amazing Mr. Pierce also did an amazing job! I believe I have the right to submit that comment on Tim Pierce's performance because I played in a band that did this song often, and was the only guitarist. Therefore, I know firsthand how difficult those lead lines can be, and he tackles them ease, panache and a light-touch subtlety that I could only dream of. (I used a passive volume swell to usher in those notes, but here M. Pierce does so naturally, and that's just amazing! Also, while I've got my guitar-geek hat already on, I absolutely dig the sound of that 335 (or 335-ish) for that track. Well done, everyone. I'd write more but I've got to listen a few more times!
Man, even Tim Pierce's "guitar face" is damn near perfectly efficient! He only gives as much face as that particular note needs. Man, he needs a course in that!
Everyone did amazing. Love Phillips bass playing. As I say to my son "Just cause you can play more doesn't mean you should. Serve the song". A great example
Rhett Shull is an awesome guitarist/musician. Rhett coupled with Tim Pierce is extraordinary! The group, recording this song “live” is very impressive. Kudos to the recording engineers for a great take.
Loved it... the lyric, feel and emotion.... no fancy studio tricks, no shredding or pyrotechnics required.... groooove is King..... play it back....Fleetwood Mac is one of my all-time favorite bands. They had the magic....
Tim Pierce- master guitarist who puts music and the song firstand puts ego aside. Recently found out that it was he who created and recorded the fantastic solo on bon jovi runaway. Always had the feeling all the years that Ritchie Sambora did not have the chops to pull that off let alone create it....and now I know.
I LOVE THIS SINGER. SHE'S SERVING THE SONG AND NOT HERSELF; LIKE SOME OTHER SINGERS AND CHARACTER TYPES. THIS GIRLS ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON AND PERFECT. STAYED WITH THE MELODY AND SERVED IT WELL AND DID NOT TRY TO OVER SING TO SHOW OFF HER VOCAL RANGE OR CHOPS (AS IN LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME)! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕VERY - "DAISY JONES AND THE SIX".
Nice man! This is not what I've come to expect from your channel. It's a really cool change of pace, and I love to hear some more covers. That said, don't stop with the normal content. This is just a nice treat. Rock on
Thanks! This is something I've wanted to bring to the channel for a while. Its not replacing any thing, but there will be more stuff like this in the near future
What a treat it is that we can enjoy such an awesome performance like we're right there in the studio. This brought out a whole new set of chills and emotion.
I saw Tim Pierce and had to watch.
20 points for a drummer who stays in the pocket and does not over play..... perfect Brother!!!
Unlike the martin miller guy… he would add extra fills to dream theater songs I bet
seconded
You‘re so right - this song offers so much opportunity to overplay, he did a perfect job!
Yes, perfect simplicity, and in the pocket!
I did like that one slick little fill he added near the end though
Beautiful cover. Rhett, your rhythm choices and effects use managed to evoke the original's vibe without copying, and Tim's lead guitar work was downright buttery.
Tim is a legend
Great job all!! Once again, proof that Tim Pierce is by my book, one of the top 10 guitar players ever! He can play soft and slow to loud and mean and it’s all velvet to the ears!! 👍🏼
That was an awesome mix right there guys! Everything balanced and crystal clear. Love this song and you added your own flavors to make it yours. ❤️❤️
Ditto
@RhettShull bro you need ask gibson to do a Rhett shell 335 that things sounds great 👍
Everyone here is killing it but a special shout out to Scheila Gonzales for those harmonies on the chorus. Outstanding!
Amazing cover all, such a joy to watch Tim play. What a master!
I’m so envious of people that get to jam with Tim. He’s been one of my musical heroes since the 1980s.
One word.... WOW!
You know you're doing something right when youre playing rhythm for Tim Pierce. Good stuff guys
Pro musicians, pro gear, pro producing. This is absolutely excellent, well done all
Love this! No matter how skilled you become as a musician, when it's time to find bandmates, you'll always appreciate a drummer who stays in the pocket without overplaying.
They better not overplay on this song.
Love hearing a vocalist use her voice as an instrument and a part of the band.
Well...that's what Stevie did!
@@Bronco-1776 stevie had 2x the power,,this lady hasant got much,,watch fleetwood"live" in the 70"S if you dont believe me
@@minstrelofMir Oh I believe you. No one could sing it like Stevie
What a cover just fantastic !....
i feel like Mr Buckingham dosnt get the credit he deserves for writing such beautiful guitar parts,
Listened to this with headphones. WOW❗ Did anyone else get chills? Three thumbs up.👍👍👍
thanks for that suggestion. will listen likewise.
Me too listening with my AirPods Max - wow!!!
I always listen with headphones, the mix was 👌👌👌
Three thumbs? You from one of those cousin-marrying states?
@@southsidejohnny5624
Lol. Nope . Just a crazy Cunuck way up north hoping that none of them will freeze off
The vocals are the star. She didn't over sing it, but the intensity was there. That snare sounds amazing. Loved it.
Ya idk who she is but her voice is just so smooth and that snare tone is right there. Great cover
Agree. The title of this vid entirely buries the lead. I guess the singer doesn't have a name that pulls in views?
Vocals for me too. Snare a little to up front for me. Otherwise I liked
It's awesome to see Tim Pierce working, he is a legend 😃
I love this drummer- his playing seems so effortless. Keep him coming!
Simply incredible. You gotta listen to Tim in a band context to understand how genius his playing is.
Tremendous. While Tim is getting deserved credit for his tasteful lead playing, Rhett's beautifully understated rhythm playing pulls it all together. Kudos to everyone involved.
Best Fleetwood Mac Cover band I have heard. Britty's voice is fresh and she owns this song.
Wow! The first Rhett /Tim video I’ve watched where my wife can’t stop looking over my shoulder cuz she wants to see it too! 😂❤
YESSSSSSSSS. Excellent job and what a band!
When Tim's not grinning ear to ear, you know it's serious! You all really captured it perfectly.
Wow! That is so well played, recorded, mixed, and presented. It not only sounds great, it feels good ❤
Wow, thank you!
WOW!! Fantastic job all around. Brittany really killed it! Beautiful voice. Now I want to see a while lot more from this group.
Wow production top notch here, Tim’s lead work is really something else. Floats in and out effortlessly. Tough to get anywhere near Stevie but she served the song well 🤘🏻
This performance is like a warm hug after a cold day, very well done! Almost ASMR
Exceptional vocals, tight rhythm section and Tim. If only more guitarists understood that it's not the quantity of notes you play, it's the quality. Such perfect touch and tone.

A great cover by musicians we love and know to be great but for me serves to underline just how truly wonderful the original and Fleetwood Mac were.
The mix is amazing, love how forward the bass and drums are with out losing the rest of the instruments..
This is heartwarming! Thank you all! ❤
Had a hard day generating shareholder value. Saw this and knew it would bring me back on the ground. And it did.
Philip's got the right vibe. Great work by all!
Wow, the camera work on camera #1. Such a joy to watch. Shout out to Tilly Schull.

Wow, the vocalist is amazing

The power of 2 chords and keeping it simple👌
Brittany was absolutely amazing on vocals. Wow! Great cover all the way around.❤
Not too much, not to little... everyone brought just the exact right amount. That's music right there.
This is one of those “deceptively easy” songs to cover. Everything is simple, but it is all very well balanced. It has a certain vibe.
The right mood and mix is critical.
You nailed it,
Amazing…a little scratch on the head of the puppy is a great intro to the video. Great musicians and vocalists. Nice work.
awesome voice
Every time I hear Dreams is coming on I think, “oh…so few chords, I’ve heard it all before.” 5 mins later I’m hypnotised, again, same as every other time. Has there ever been a better suite of guitar fills?
I love how beautifully understated this is. Kudos to Tim for not crowding the song!
wow...........🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I know this is an original take on the song but the intention and vibe of the original is still present here. And to the man behind the kit! That pocket! Bravo to everyone
I love the little smile Tim gives at 2:50 after his solo 😊
I was very astonished how impressive this video was. I was touched. Everyone who has "done that and been there" knows the excitement and joy. Teamwork at it's best. You could see that everybody, even the old master himself, gave their absolute best. 👍
That’ll do nicely👍
My favorite Fleetwood Mac song and now my favorite cover. Beautifully done everyone!
It's the dog scratches mid pedal fiddling for me rhett. Greatest moment ever caught on video not gonna lie about it
That was very beautiful ,what an all-star crew and left me wanting more ear candy! Thank you all❤️✌️
What a f#^&* beautiful song. I can still see that cassette jacket laying in the seat of my TR-6.,
Phil's bass looks and sounds incredible!!!!
Listening to music is pleasant and affects mood. Playing music, when you are connected, is transcendental.
Great song! Glad you all got some studio time!
Mary Spender and Danish Pete do a great acoustic version as well.
Thanks for the video!
Yes, I like Spender's ;and Pete's version better...but not everyone can sing like Mary...this is still a great version, though.
Yes, Mary and Pete's version is the only other cover of this song I listen to (and play with). Both versions are just a gift to us all.
Great track. Amazing vocal harmonies! Lovely chevalier dog. Really like the snare sound (I would have a hard time not to mix it wetter). And the two guitars not concurring but supporting each other!
👍👍👍
Great drumming!!!!
Scheila Gonzales is an absolute badass. Everyone else is not too shabby, of course.
Tim Pierce is the man! Great job, all you ✌️
Wow, Nice Job, she even moves like Lanie … bueautiful
This is a solid cover. I didn't expect it to be THIS good!
Spotless and really tasteful- from the first note til the last. I❤
Awesome mix Rhett! At first I thought maybe the vocals can go up a dB and a half, but actually..no, it sits well nicely with everyone. It does feel like a dream indeed ☁
Tasty backing vox there Rhett
Wow -- that was amazing!! Very much like the original, yet with your own spin on it. **LOVED** the vocals!! Fantastic all around!
Oh My. Thanks for this.
Any young musicians watching, take notes. No discernable auto tune. Straight up honest music! Well done!!
Tim Pierce is the man!!!
Great Cover!!
I like seeing these players actually playing instead of just talking about playing. Very cool!
Rare thing on this side of uboob

Fantastic. Everything accompanying each other beautifully. Great work all involved; you did a timeless classic justice.
I wish I could like this every time it pops up in my feed, because I watch it every time it pops up in my feed and I always dig it.
Quality content ❤ real music with real musicians
Buttery smoooooth Beautiful
Awesome!!😊😊👍
Like the way Phillip and Chad play together! Tim is always great! Nice mix too.
Yes, everyone's happy! Including the audience! Very well done all, sounded beautiful!

The move into the main line of the chorus in this song is one of my favorite things in any song, ever.
What a treat it is that we can enjoy such an awesome performance like we're right there in the studio. This brought out a whole new set of chills and emotion.
2 chords, just 2 chords... Absolutely brilliant, the magic of 🎵
Holy smokes that was an amazing cover that gave me chills 🤘🏻
That was incredible. The silence at the end as everyone looked around said it all. Truly a beautiful moment to share.👍
