    HEY JIM! Thanks, I was one of the ones asking because you seem to have a handle on this stuff. I know it's not the normal stuff you show here but I sure appreciate you doing this for us.

    We bought one, thanks to you! It has changed our lives ! We've gone from dial-up speeds to near high speeds. We live in a rural area as well and I'm telling you that this was so far above our expectations. We have gone from a download of around 10 and upload around 2 to an upload of of 40 and a download of 32. AMAZING AND THANK YOU!!! Easy setup!

    For me as a fluent non-native speaker, it's a great relief to see an American struggling with the word "rural" :D

      Oh heck I get tongue tied on many words, but we call it an Arizona accent. LOL

    Why the speed test in Ookla download/upload is so low with 5G SIM? although streaming works fine

    Wow. Although I'm a very educated pharmacist, I have NOT been able to understand all the technical jargon on routers, modems, antennae and all their settings, compatibility issues and appropriateness for my needs. (And I've been trying very hard for two months to figure out what will work for me). I think I've just found it!
    This "IS" the video I've been trying desperately to find. Thank you so much! And please let us know which antennae ASAP???

      I am glad it helped and the antenna used is the Waveform 4x4 mimo antenna Main Kit: amzn.to/3Wpd42K It sure has made a difference for me!

      @@ILikeToBuildStuff Thank you SO very much! I really appreciate the detail in your video. Hopefully it will be as doable as you made it look when I order and receive everything. God bless.

    If you get a external antenna you can go crazy far.
    I can get signal from over towns two hours away.

      Type this in: AT+EGMR=1,7,"IMEINUMBER"

    Hi, did you ever get around to adding the Yagi antenna? I am struggling so bad to increase my uplink speed. I only need 1.5Mbps minimum to save my WFH job. Just got my F Type to SMA converter. Need to know which port to connect to. Your video was so helpful. Thanks Jim

    So let me get this straight, I can get a new phone from Tmobile, take the SIM card of of it and put it into this router and boom, I have internet?

    • @ILikeToBuildStuff
      @ILikeToBuildStuff  Год назад

      Hi Thomas, Yes that would be correct as long as you get TM signal where you are. You would need to modify the IMEI number on the router to match your phone.
