Ever wonder which perfume subscription service was best for you? Well I did the work for you. I compared these subscriptions, using a spreadsheet of different attributes taking all things into consideration, NOT just pricing. I have received several reports from subscribers of inauthentic products received from Scent Door. I want to be clear that I do NOT endorse that! I have no problem with clone brands, especially good quality clones (ex Dapper) for those dipping their toes into niche . But selling fakes advertised as authentic does NOT fly with me!!!
Please consider the other services mentioned here instead.
I had my fears about them selling non authentic as authentic but it was just a fear on my side but now I see that some other folks are feeling the same way I do. I am shocked they advertise them as all 100% authentic. Was it confirmed in any way that they might be selling fakes? I am concerned cause I purchased several Nasomatto decants.
I bought some too that matched my other authentic decants. But these people had blatantly different juice compared to other decants they possessed. So I don’t really know the mix of his inventory. It’s just not worth endorsing or purchasing. I thought it odd to have reasonable prices for discontinued unicorns like TF Plum Japonias and Kilian Apple Brandy.

After watching your video, I was ready to choose scentdoor. Thankfully I came to check out others comments and saw your pinned comment not endorsing them. Thanks.
I bought two decants from them last year and they smell authentic. I just bought one last week, received it today and it smells off.

This is the most comprehensive guide for scent subscriptions on RUclips today! I have been looking for a video like this for months. I am new to niche fragrances and don’t have the money to just blind buy a $300 fragrance and most decanters charge waayyy too much! What do you think the best ( quality ) travel spray that is refillable from niche house (e.g. by kilian travel spraysm, though I heard they leak)
I am not sure I have an answer for you. But in general any screw top will be at mercy to how tightly you screw it down. Plumbers tape around the threads will always increase the purchase and decrease any chances of leaking.
I would be interested in purchasing some travel sizes 🙏 Where can I find a list of what you have and the price s?!
Royalty Scents seems to me to be the best in value in what scents I want.
Also is there a way that you can take a test and then they will guide you in the right direction in terms of picking the right sense? I don’t really see a description of sent On your favorite one, sentdoor…
Royalty Scents and Parfory (formerly Yuniqu) are my current favorites. Parfory has tests and suggests. I can’t recall about RS.
ScentDoor had complaints of some maybe being counterfeit.

So lets say I do the luxury subscription. How much does the price go up when you select a larger decant size? Like, if I wanted a 15ml does that monthly charge go up a certain amount? It’s not a flat fee. It’s dependent on what you pick. It’s confusing, I know.

Of the subscription services you discussed, have you had any doubts about their authenticity? I’ve only purchased fragrances, mostly niche, from retailers (Saks, Bergdorf’s) or directly from the fragrance houses.
I signed up for a subscription this month with Royalty Scents because of their selection.
Can they be trusted?
Royalty Scents can be trusted. I have used them for years. I only have doubts about Scentdoor, per my pinned comment.
I really enjoy subscription fragrence boxes but i wish someone would do a recommendations on what to TRY!!!

Scentbox is another one that allows you to buy a full size bottle of some of the fragrances they carry. The majority of their fragrances are designer.
I am going to join scent box because of your recommendation, I would love a list of the ones you've ordered that you love.. I would love any of the fragrances you don't want. I love flowery scents. I am not e who has explored perfumes at all. And have limitations as to transportation. But any guidance would be appreciated.
I pinned a comment that several subscribers received product they have good reason to believe is not authentic. Please be advised. I highly recommend any of the other subscriptions I mentioned. I’m still enrolled in those.
I have three perfume subscriptions. Unfortunately I have been disappointed with LUXSB. I am still waiting on my November perfume from them. I am definitely going to check out scentdoor!
Oh no!! Have you reached out? They actually are fast with subscription shipments. They ship right after billing. I think they moved the processing date for everyone this month!
I'm getting frustrated with LUXSB. I signed up in Feb 2022. My CC was charged but nothing was sent. Another CC charge came in Mar and received email telling me that my product shipped. But 2 weeks later, USPS tracking # shows that the label created but product not yet received by post office.
I cannot get a hold of cust svc via email/phone :(
Follow-up, I was able to get a hold of cust service via DM on Twitter and got my issue resolved.

I just received my 15ml of Ombre Nomade. Here is my honest feedback on it. Ive got some samples from the Louis Vuitton store and were able to put a good 4 or 5 in a small spray bottle and the color is like a tinted burgundy or reddish purple. The Scentdoor spray is yellowish. Not same colors. What i do know of the Louis Vuitton Samples is they are more heavily oil based and part of the reason it runs at nearly $500 a bottle. The Scentdoor version when i smelled it after first spray blasted me with a whiff of the alcohol inside but it does smell like the Louis Vuitton version; but im thinking its watered down for sure. Best way to research this is to get a true sample from the actual store and compare it to your Scentdoor version on different hands.
😲😲😲😲😲😲😲 I received some from ScentDoor that I already had, and they were identical! HOWEVER, you are the second person to report that back to me, which is very alarming to me 🚨
Microperfumes… i think they may have given me a bad 3ml sample of Baccarat Rouge Parfum-version. I was so disappointed with the sample I got that I wrote them and they gave me a replacement that was slightly better. The down is unnatractice and doesn’t smell like the baccarat at all or any of its notes, it’s this weird chemical smell kinda reminds me of the smell of “static” on those old tvs when I was a kid and get close the screen and slide my hand cross. I really don’t like the down at all and then ad reviews that the last year the quality has tanked and there’s no projection. So I wonder if that’s what happened to me. The other samples though were great that I got. I don’t think they offer subscriptions

I just went to check on my March subscription and yes, they doubled their prices. Needless to say, I will be cancelling my subscription.
My issue with Royalty scents is their customer service. So I cancelled because of that.
Scentbird has failed me. Their fragrance descriptions miss the mark completely. This week will be my 3rd month. If this one sucks too, I will be canceling. I get 3 at a time and 6 have sucked so far
Oh no! I don't go by their descriptions. but I did end my subscription with them. They others I have suit me better.
Chris, I always do my own research on scents and look up fragrances that catch my interest on Fragrantica before I order them from Scentbird or anywhere else. I didn't really trust the information and reviews on Scentbird 100%. Fragrantica really gives you so much more information to make a wise selection. If I'm still not sure, I will look for reviews on other places. I always read the bad reviews first! 😉.
