- Fragrances can be expensive! As someone with a lot of perfumes I need a less expensive way to try scents and satiate my need for new fragrances! I decided to try a couple more inexpensive subs from trusted retailers and then was lucky enough to be asked to review one of the more expensive subs as well! I just started a subscription with Scentbird as well. So which are worth it?! Which is the best value?! I'll tell you about my experiences with Perfume.com, Purple Lux by Fragrancenet, Scentbird & LUXSB!

So if you go to Sephora, you can get a package with about 5 fragrances for only $10. They are smaller like sample sizes, but for me, I'm not paying a monthly price, nor am I getting only one fragrance, and again, it's only $10.
That's really interesting. I've never seen that in the stores near me. Are you in the US? I wonder if it's regional or something? I like subs because the scents I want to try are not available in most stores, so it's a way to try new scents that I wouldn't have access to otherwise. I wish Sephora carried more of their niche brands in store. 🤗
The Sephora option is not the same. They don’t let you choose. It’s a set of 4 or 5 and then good luck if you don’t like the ones you don’t know in the pack
Ive tried a couple.of the uk scent sub boxes I really like the idea of them but I love that the ones you showed come with such pretty cases on them that makes them prefect for your handbag xx
Yes, I like the ones that come with the case, it makes it so much easier to travel with them! I also don't have to worry about them breaking 🤗

I'm not too familiar with UK subs I'm sorry to say.
I just signed up for both Scentbird and Scentbox because they offered such different perfumes. Scentbox had a lot of mainstream scents and Scentbird had tons of niche. Going to try them for a year.
I can see how they would compliment each other. Looking at Scentbox I have many of the scents they carry so it didn't have the same value to me. I hope you're enjoying both subscription!
I haven’t signed up for any of these fragrance subscriptions and yes most of them ship to Canada but not sure if they do anywhere else
That's good to know! Sometimes it's hard to find that information when companies have different sites for different countries.
Scentbox sucks if live in canada. Paid for two months and never did get anything. Pissed.

I want to try purpl lux but don’t want to pay at front 😆 and don’t want to pay more than $10 a month for a subscription
It's tough! Perfume.com is also $10 a month without an upfront commitment, it might be a good choice if they have some scents you're interested in.
Do they last all month with average daily use? I wanted to do the purplelux but I want to make sure I have enough to last all month
I think it depends on how much you typically spray. If you do 3 sprays or so, then yes. I do about 10, so I don't see these lasting a full month. I change scents every day though, so I haven't gone through one yet. The Purpllux is an 8ml size, so a sample size less than a typical travel spray. I hope that helps!
Which one do recommend that’s is cheaper? I do get scentbird I’ve received 2 but skipped this month! They did inform me they are going up a $1 starting 5/11. I like both scents I got but they don’t last very long on me. The Jo Malone I received from Macy’s Jo Malone bag the peony & blue suede is so nice. I’ve never tried any others because it’s just too expensive.
I would go with perfume.com. There isn't a commitment to get the $9.95 price and they have a good variety. They have a few Jo Malones available and there isn't a premium price!
Hey everyone, Purpl Lux at Fragrance Net added more fragrances, and it’s better choices than every single one out their. Fragrance net is very reliable and is not that expensive especially compared with Scentbird
I like purple lux. Not sure about the other ones but at least with fn you have the option to buy the sample size at listed price without committing to a subscription. I’m a loyal frag net customer

Ughhh Scentbird's shipping.😑 I really do like fragrance subs though! I want to try Royalty Scents, still, but I haven't figured out how they work. Every time I try to sign up, it seems like they are forcing me to take their "recommended" scent or something, and so I back out. Ooof. 💗💗
Well they have sent me a replacement since mine hadn't arrived for such a long time. I don't know what is going on with shipping companies atm. I couldn't figure out Royalty Scents either.
Royalty scents just changed their app so that they have a queue now. It's not nearly as confusing as it was. Before you had to subscribe and enter in a code when you picked out your scents to show that you were subscribed.

I think my scentbird case might be broken. I'm not sure, I just received my first month. But the bottle doesn't go all the way down when twisting it down. Idk maybe it's something I'm doing wrong. Is it supposed to be like that? I'm still able to push the sprayer down a little if that makes since. After rotating it down it doesn't lay flush with the dispenser.
That's really weird! When you push the vial down it should lay flush. I wonder if there is something in the case keeping it from closing all the way? I would take the vial out and shake the case. If it still doesn't lay flush I would contact them! I've had good luck with their CS so far!
@@EnglishProfStyle there's nothing in it but I did get two bottles of perfume on my first purchase. So I just decided to add the second bottle into the dispenser to see if that bottle did the same thing. It doesn't. It's actually the bottle of perfume that came in it. It's longer than the other bottle and it's leaking on the side like they didn't press the metal sprayer down far enough. Or it's not wanting to screw all the way closed. I don't know it's weird, its for sure longer than the other bottle.

I was too, that's why I started with a couple from sites I have purchased from before.
They might have some discontinued scents, but they just released a new scent, Pear Inc. It's hard to keep up though.
Are the fragrancenet sprayers refillable?
I don't believe so, but I'm not brave enough to try to open one!
They are refillable. I have one those similar looking refillable sprayers.

I've enjoyed scentbird when I had it.

Yes, they are all authentic perfumes!
@@EnglishProfStyle yes but to be very clear if I get a YSL fragrance is it a dupe or is it a YSL authentic perfume by YSL? Sorry I do not mean to sound rude just being direct.
They are decants of authentic fragrances. I've never bought a dupe or clone. I actually don't think there are any subs for dupe fragrances :)
