Really great build. I have been building a crosskart very similar to this for a little while; I'm currently bending the chassis. Excellent craftsmanship- I'm definitely staying tuned!
Super job on this build. I see top quality craftsman ship on every detail. Why use the pushrod setup? Does not look like your coil over shock length would have been any problem for using standard coil over shocks. In most applications I see push rods used, there are constraints on shock towers sticking up but that is not an issue for you. I am not an engineer, officially, so just wondering. It is certainly cool though. I'm rebuilding 3 old Honda 350 odysseys with stretched frame and long travel suspension all from a Polaris xp1000. Easy and cheap to score that stuff from ebay. It is all built to handle well over 1000 lb buggies with up to 200+ hp. I figure it will be pretty Bulletproof and not be failing after every session with my 150 hp snowmobile engine. It will be like the grind hard plumbing odyssey but better because they used Honda 450 quad front suspension [breaks a lot] and I'm using the XP1000 hubs but in 2wd config so no front axles, just the stub end to hold the hub in place. Trying to figure out my shock configuration front/rear, why I watched your video. I'm a machinist welder/fabricator so I don't need to pay people to build things.
I appreciate craftsmanship! Intresting bellcrank suspension. How much does the vehicle weigh? Seems like guys build these 2 ways, lightweight like a gokart, or more like a car.
Could you talk about the "in-line hydro"? First I've heard of it. Been following you on Instagram. My RUclips must have known because this just popped up in my feed. Can't wait to see it rip. Thanks for all the insight!!!
15x5.5 I think? I know they are 15s with a 45 side wall.. hope this helps.. im running 4x100 bolt pattern all around so miata wheels fit.. theres alot of cheap sets on fb.
@vicman440 they could be a little lighter. Look into some vms wheels they make a 15x3.5 I might get a set. It still is very fast with these. Plenty of grip. 0-60 ~2sec.
W your setup n way you made your shock suspension setup n etc?! ...How you think it'll do on sand dunes and vs Sand dune suspensions Or Your advise change suspension / shock setup for sand dunes? I'm not a mechanic like you but just asking
if you did this style for sand you would want to do some massive modifications but with sand you could keep your shocks up our of the sand more.. but you would need to do a different style of knuckle for the cantilever
@Unique1Media bigger shocks. Reservoir shocks. Thats about it build the lever to give you the right ratio.. these change 1.5 inch of travel to around 7... so get some long travel shocks and leave it 1:1

Bro 😶🌫😶🌫😶🌫🤯🤯🤯🤯 Suspension set up🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Hell yea brother!! I love F1. Had to take inspiration and show Homage.
@@jamelvaughn2010 i surely follow n develop this design when i start my build 🔥🔥🙌🙌
Lovely welding
Awesome build brother I am building something similar
I appreciate craftsmanship! Intresting bellcrank suspension. How much does the vehicle weigh? Seems like guys build these 2 ways, lightweight like a gokart, or more like a car.
No weight yet. Will fill the tank and weigh later.
sweet build
Beleza 👍👍👍👍😎
Thing is a Monster with proper breaking. Capacity
We need a build video.
welds are spot on

I try and add that in a video
so much work ....very sweet
Thank you! Still not done. Possible turbo in the works.
Nice build
Well made
Excellent!
what size wheels are you using? they look amazing on the kart

@jamelvaughn2010 how do you feel with them? I have an r1 engine but I'm worried they'll feel too heavy
@vicman440 they could be a little lighter. Look into some vms wheels they make a 15x3.5 I might get a set. It still is very fast with these. Plenty of grip. 0-60 ~2sec.
@jamelvaughn2010 that must feel insane, thank you for the info man I appreciate it!
I’ve been following your build are you a welder by trader or a mechanic you do excellent work!
Yes I am! Welder of 10 years... tinker on my own time..
Should really find a low spot for the tank and check weight distribution
Nah.. thought about it a bunch already.. the weight up there is negligible...
W your setup n way you made your shock suspension setup n etc?!

Your advise change suspension / shock setup for sand dunes?

is that mild steel chassis?
Yes. 1.5" with .120 wall and 1.25" with .093 wall.
Just, Beautiful...
Incredible build, you’ve really used your head and made it your own! What steering rack are you using?
Empi its just so good. Lol
@@jamelvaughn2010 do you know what size/length it is?
@@thedude6650 14" empi steering rack. They cost a bit. But well worth every penny.
Looks awesome. What are those buttons on top of the shifter?
Turn signal, brights, and the horn. Was gonna mount them behind the steering wheel. But this was better placement for drive ability
Excellent fabrication. That exhaust is killer. What did you use for a diff/spool?
Jd garage style
Are there rules for crosskarts, or are these just however you want to build it?
Depends on if you want to run in crosskart races.. but if your just having fun. Its free game.
Why did you decide to do trailing arm?
as opposed to a-arms? they take a beating well. and are simpler to build.
Nice 👍
What about this is pushrod? The engine?
@@Darkipod fz1 engine.
Se podría hacer un pedido para uno??
Uso personal hermano.
What spool setup did you use in back?
JD style.. beefed up and added my own turnbuckles
Top.
Don't think this suspension setup is best suited for offroad,
This is not a offroad vehicle. Whats your point?
Not criticising your work, i guessed it was going to be used off road
@foundnotlost Im going street legal via "homemade construction".
🇰🇭🥰🌹👍👏👏👏

are these sort of buggy steering racks specified to pass the road legal inspection?
what rose joint and tubes size did you use for the shock absorber push rod arms ?
