What a wing like that does is give you downforce while at high speeds, which lets you drive around corners faster; But the key is, you have to be going really fast for it to work at all; also, you have to have it at the correct angle.
Yo man! Get someone to vacuum form you some plastic fairings or something for aero and a pro racing vibe. Naked bikes look good but 4 wheelers don’t look right with nothing on them lol I don’t mean to be fat shaming your kart 🤣 but hey
@@calholli tandem or side by side? I’m thinking tandem would be better for handling, weight distribution and would look really unique (kinda reminiscent of a fighter jet or small plane). Also if the driver hits something, the passenger should be safer by being shielded behind the driver.
@@codypalm yeah. He built a buggy a few years ago that broke the throttle linkage. Stuffed it into a house down the street. He was hella busted up. Broken leg and a bunch more
Hands down, your best project. 🤙 Also, the wing does add downforce at higher speed. Make it a lot steeper angle, for downforce at lower speeds, for cornering. Maybe add a steep front wing....
Definitely scout for a good steering stabilizer. Looks like some brutal bump-steer. No bueno if you hit something hard enough to shake your hands loose.
Hey man. I love the cart. Thanks for putting me onto Dirt Legal. I contacted them and they said they should be able to help me legalize MY cart too. Can't wait to be able to rip up the roads legally.
Young man I remember watching some of your early builds not too long ago and just look at your fabrication skills now! Proud of ya buddy! The sky's the limit!
Been watching you since you started basically. Can't believe how far you've come. It's got to feel good, working for it and then being this successful. Congratulations man. I'm trying to save up for my first house so I can do projects like this too. Living at an apartment I have no space to work on things and I don't want to annoy the neighbors with loud noises. You're absolutely killing it man. It's awesome seeing you literally grow up and at the same time your channel and content growing too.
Awesome job Vasily! Great video, definitely turns heads! Must be so rewarding to take a long cruise in something you’ve put so much time and effort into. Again great job and keep it up!!
I love that you hand built your own F1 experience. Honestly the great Italian designers from the old days would be proud of something like this. It's amazing what you pulled off man! Congrats on a stellar build!
Such an awesome build! You definitely killed it with this one. Driving the way you do, hopefully it doesn’t kill you. Play dumb games, win stupid prizes.
I built my own cross kart by hand and still working on issues on it! You did a very good job on that one👌 I would really love to be street legal but in Canada there is no way to make it 🤷🏽♂️
So sick. I love it 🤘🤘🤘Random question for ya man! Is one of your sprockets not installed quite centered? At cruise, the rpm sounds like it’s slightly fluctuating, may be contributing to breaking the chain too! I had an experience with that on a bicycle 2 stroke engine install.
I love the build. If you tilted the wing back so the center is level and put some custom end plates I think it would look better and be closer to functional. I hope to see it built for time attack rather than drag racing. Maybe a Dyno tune?
A trick we used in the motor industry to stop rattles was to us star washers. Yan can usually put the star washer under the bolt head like a normal washer, but placing it between the panel and lug/frame works better, if it is possible. The panel tends to restrict access to the other end of the bolt. How much does the crosskart weigh compared to the motorcycle the engine came from? A CBR600 is fast, but the Hayabusa enge you have used would take it a level or two.
Can't tell if he needs a steering stabilizer, better steering system geometry, or a driving class. Great build, man. I'm just starting design work on my own, with a cross-plane R1 engine.
The build is awesome dude! So fast love it! After watching that though i would put in more tubing in along were your sitting I'm sure you could make it look cool and it might save you incase of a accident... always impressed! have fun and be safe!
Amazing job ,you've come along way since I 1st started watching u. Pretty work. Wish we could road legal that type of vehicle here. Sick job brother. Looks like a blast to drive. Can't put nothing on the road like that here in Canada.
This is awesome this thing would be nuts with a turbo but this makes me want to complete mine even more I have a two seater off road buggy build which is almost done with a r1 engine with a turbo so it's going to be interesting how it's going to go lol
Right, plus the more they drive around town like this, it gives the wrong people an excuse to say they're "racing each other through town". It may be street legal, but he'll end up with at least a speeding ticket and catch shit for the loud exhaust. Hell, it may happen anyways, but dragging around a yellow billboard everywhere can only draw more attention.
I'd have to put some kind of at least small makeshift bumper on it. I wouldn't want to bump something and snatch off the a arms. Cuz I definitely would want to get silly with it! Cool build vas I'm proud of you man
Well I know what I'm building next 😏. That's amazing the sound brings me back to riding. I don't know whats done to the s2000 but no way it can actually keep up with the bike engine.
Its a 600cc engine... its used to pushing a few hundred lbs, and putting power to just one wheel. The minibuggy is much heavier (its easily 1000lbs with driver and fluids) so the power to weight ratio is nowhere near as good. Its also putting power down on two wheels, a lot more rolling resistance/mass. Not to mention the aero, and wind resistance differences. Make sure you fully check your local state statures and laws, down here in florida youd have a real hard time getting this road legal, im not sure if its possible honestly given the dimensions and florida not wanting sxs's being street legal. I was gonna make one until i found out theres a 95% chance i wont have anywhere to ride it.
It's always good when you and the Cuz get together to film.Awesome vid guys. Will keep an eye on Motorhead.Co for his clips,if he's sharing it too. That cart is so Bad Arse Vasily.Would like to see you safely test it on a cross-cart track to see if you need tweaks. It doesn't look like it needs any.You said,'panels were noisy'.Perhaps rubber washers between frame and panels.?Happy Trails !
Congrats! I hope to finish my project in the future. Just wondering, thought that was the motor people was giving you a hard time over? Seems to run good to me. Your living proof, with the right tools and know how the job can be finished right. Keep it up!
Thats my Chick fil a! I've seen Vasily a couple of times around the area but have yet to see the cross kart. Just watch out for the local police, they've been going after people recently. Cool build tho
*Speedometer reads wrong, it's basically in kmh

It's sick... You should leave it just like it is--- and build another one with a 1000cc R1 or busa or ZX 14, ect... But make it 2 seater.

Straight ripper, I would put a busa engine on that monster of a machine, bro amazing job your build
Nice job Vasily, but please dude, be careful....especially on a shakedown run. Please don't embed yourself in someone's house again.
LMAO
ok im new to this channel, he has previously embedded himself in a house? i feel like i need to know more now lol 🤣

@@eyeballengineering7007 thanks for the info. thats insane glad to see he made it out alive, for sure subscribing! these guys are nuts lol
Line the inside of the panels with vinyl to eliminate the vibration noise. Might be a good idea to get a steering stablizer too. Great build!
Hands down, your best project. 🤙
Also, the wing does add downforce at higher speed. Make it a lot steeper angle, for downforce at lower speeds, for cornering. Maybe add a steep front wing....
^^^^^^This^^^^^^^
Add a front splitter/wing and you will gain more traction for cornering and high speed stability.
That was my thoughts as well. Adding wider tires would be helpful too, it's very squirrly
front splitter would make a huge difference in cornering big time
Definitely scout for a good steering stabilizer. Looks like some brutal bump-steer. No bueno if you hit something hard enough to shake your hands loose.
One of the best builds on youtube. So clean.
Awesome job buddy! Love seein this thing rippin up the backroads!
Это наверное круто, когда техника собранная своими руками может передвигаться по дорогам общего пользования 👍👍👍
That s2000 is clean!

I'd love to see this on Hoonigan's "This vs That"!

Vasily I'm like 18yrs older than you , but you are truly an inspiration to me frfr, keep up the xlnt work 💯👌🏾
Thanks brother!
The only flaw with it I can find is though its a chick magnet, you can’t pick up a girl in it. You’d want a two seater for double the fun!
Now thats a sweet set of wheels. Seeing those people nearly break their necks to get a look at it as you drove by was funny. Awesome work man.
That s2000 is pretty nice as well
That tunnel rip in the intro was sick 💪
I've never seen anyone with so little disregard for their life or license lmfao. Sick build, subbed mostly to see how this epic saga ultimately ends.
The freedom when it's finally street legal is awesome.
No tail lights it even plates or open papers..
The intro makes me miss living in Chattanooga. Such a beautiful and vibrant little city.
You build super cool stuff bro
Dude amazing build you gotta take it to tail of the dragon! Keep up the hard work stay safe! 🙏
Nice job on the wing brace.

600lbs I'd say compared to 270. But 4-5x the aero surface area

Some Glass Panelling and side covering and its set for light drizzles on over cast days. Solid build so far man looks dope af.
I feel a cars and cameras collab coming up soon with this being done and them freshening up the cross kart
I think you should strip it down and paint the frame a color that pops like orange green white and put fenders and a windshield in
