Wow! The eye!
I live on oak island, drove through yesterday and it was like a ghost town. All these poor people came down for vacation and now are left with no cars and some even had their house burn down. Feel so bad for them. Our beach doesn’t even look like itself, chilling.

I love Ocean Isle Beach. Vacationed there sometimes. Very nice beach. We only had rain in the western part of the state .

I live in wilmington NC it was a crazy night the power kept flickering on and off triggering the buildings alarm system. And the drive to work the next mornings was a pain because of the trees that were down an traffic light outages

@@silverfuture999 We don't get hurricanes here, by definition. We do often get hurricane force winds and storm surges. Just saying, for once it is a normal day here in Ireland.
The storm surge covered the whole island during Hazel in 1957.

I live in California. We just don't get crazy weather like this or snow storm, although it would be nice to get heavy thunderstorm here and there.

Are yall from the area? Cuz.....this storm was a literal joke. Nothing happened. We got some storm surge. Few cars got flooded. Big whoop. Stop sensationalizing this kind of stuff for views. It's honestly just incredibly annoying. I live within spitting Distance of OIB here in Shallotte. We didn't even get enough rainfall to fill up the drainage ditch in the front yard lmfao.

If trump doesn’t get a better grasp of the pandemic he’s going to lose a ton of votes, regardless of who he runs against. He lost by 4 million last election but got lucky in what states voted for him. He might not get so lucky this time. Out of 45 presidents only 4 elections have been decided by electoral college.
