Love the idea. So refreshing and helpful to see an average garage with great ideas for storage, coz most of the time, videos are nothing but all decked out and loaded garages with tools and equipment average ppl don’t have.

Glad it was helpful! All my videos are to help others with their DIY needs

Awesome video, very helpful! For your ratchet extensions that are held by tape, consider taping a washer in place that the inside diameter fits your extension to make it more permanent and durable than tape. Watching your video gave me so many ideas on how to improve my own pegboard, thank you!

Have you updated your board lately? After watching this I moved all my sockets from trays to what you have. Stays organized by size. Thanks.

Love the Great Ideas ! !
The idea of using screwdriver holders for socket ext. Use washers with the holedrilled out and then Hot glue washer on to the top of the screwdiver holder. It is more durable than tape.

I agree with the first commenter; I just hung some of these up to avoid the rat-hole issue, and there were some great tips and detail here. Thanks so much!

Problem, what problem? Great video, nice to know I am not alone, I think it would need to rain for 2 years for both of us to use all our just "for a rainy day" stuff. Super organising and you know where and what everything does. Great video, great set up.

finally some common sense... I was about to give up all I could find was Barbie telling me how to clean my garage with unpractical goofy ideas she used to organize her scrap book table and transferred those ideas to her cleaning her garage... I knew there had to be a practical person out there that could give me real advice... thanks

Get some heavy-duty fencing wire, make your own hooks and hangers, even without a peg board I used to make hooks and hangers out of it and screw them to a board I put on the wall and that worked well, Thanks for the really in-depth commentry.

Great Idea, used to use the pegboard on 5 S lean manufacturing projects - Question where did you buy the pegboards and what size and how much they cost

My question is how much often do you use all that 💩? My bet is as often as all of us.I have that much 💩 I haven’t touched in a decade or 2 in my shed.

That is a valid point. It’s probably every 2 years I might actually use 80% of those on that board. But 20% is even less frequent.
It’s almost FOMO that if I sell or donate that tool that I haven’t touched in 10 years then I will need it right after that. It’s probably a form of hoarding too just like most people who can’t divest of products they’ve acquired. Then there’s the activity of actually trying to pare it down. That time intensive activity isn’t worth the effort for me since I hang the tools on the wall which was once just unused vertical space. Surely someday I will have to go through those obsolete or non-moving inventory and divest.
