As a Villa fan I was devastated and absolutely furious that we let Marc go.

Cracking interview there. Very genuine and likeable fella. Just think, Villa had him from 8 yr old and decided to let him go for free. The next season he won the Premier League playing nearly every game 😂
The next season he was on the bench for a team doing the great escape.
Villa also finished bottom the season Leicester won it.

I hated Leicester winning the league because it was a total freak. It wasn't by design. It wasn't even a team trying to get top 6 or top 4. It's great to see the underdog win, see a different team win the title but that was just a total freak and they ended up selling everybody and dropping back down to their natural level.
The didn't end up selling everybody and then the next 5 years getting the CL quarter finals, winning the FA Cup and fighting for top 4. Which is about as long as a non established team can possibly dream to overachieve for.

@@kb5509 they didn't sell Wes Morgan, no. They sacked the manager who won the title and finished 12th. They didn't make the top 4 and Wigan won the FA Cup and got relegated and are now in League 1. Leicester had Dean Smith as manager and got relegated. Now they're managed by Steve Cooper.
