Really enjoyed this from David. I have no problem with his swagger in the past because if the average guy had his genetics and punchpower we'd all have supreme confidence in ourselves too. He was honest about his losses and humble with it so fair play to the man. Great career and great mentality for a champion.
The “Johnny Wilkinson” of boxing, picked up a lot of injuries due to lack of size in the modern heavyweight division. So exciting to watch in his earlier fights and, in his later career gave Del (when he was at his best) a boxing lesson and sparked him out in the 5th…something Fury couldn’t do in three fights. Awesome fighter.
One of my favourite fighters, exciting af, very very talented and could end a fight with one punch always had everyone on the edge of their seats, well done David Haye.
I've always like David for his explosive power, but after what he went through with Bellew 1 fight and still never quit, that is the epitome of someone who you want on your side in the trenches. A proper warrior. He couldn't even walk straight and still battled on. Heart of a lion in my opinion
Top man...speaks so well..at his pomp was class..klitcho was the turning point where he just got out boxed and under performed ..from then on the body just broke down..bellew himself said he would of never beaten him at his best...
I’ve not heard Bellew say that (not arguing that he didn’t), but I definitely watched him say he always would have beat Hayw because styles make fights. I happen to agree with your opinion on if that had happened. Ol Tony’s never been the most consistent in his comments 🤷♂️😂
