I always liked Jeff as a ref, so watching this was such a joy. His story about wanker refs mad me chuckle. When I first qualified as a ref I turned out for an under 12s game in my spankingly new pristine black kit with the local FA badge displaying proudly on my chest. As I walked onto the pitch with the ball at the start of the game I was greeted with a loud rendition of "who's the wanker in the black?" turning around I saw my wife and daughter on the touchline singing it.

Used to hate him as a ref, always felt he had sommat against Sheff Wed, but comes across as a great bloke on this. 👍🏻 Enjoyed it, thanks

The best Under The Cosh podcast I’ve ever watched. Even better than the one with Simon Ferry. Top stuff.

Good watch and some interesting stories. speaks a lot of sense about the game and refing too. . was a good referee too and a real character .you don't see that in refs today
