Best tutorials on YT. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Peter Frampton, Led Zeppelin and so on. You nail them all. Thanks for teaching this great song. The only comment, if I may, is that McCartney when playing it live, plays B7 with F# on bass, leaving the 5th. string open. Cheers from Brazil.
As Paul famously tuned his acoustic down a whole step; making an open G chord an F (as he did on “Yesterday”) I have always assumed he did the same on this one (G-Em-C-D7-G-Em-Bm-G7, etc) and the rockabilly riff was an overdub on a guitar tuned up or capo’d to F (or varispeeded).
What to say..... as usual, very precise, very well played, and very well explained. Thanks Andy !! I always wonder for which reason somebody is clicking "Thumb down", maybe a jealous guy or an unhappy man who is blaming the entire earth for his rotten life ?
Hi, I'm from Brazil, your chanel is the best, but I prefer when you put just a guitar song on the demo, makes more clear to hear your arrangement. Keep doing your great work! Thanks for the classes!
Who knows how long I've loved you You know I love you still Will I wait a lonely lifetime If you want me to, I will For if I ever saw you I didn't catch your name But it never really mattered I will always feel the same Love you forever and forever Love you with all my heart Love you whenever we're together Love you when we're apart And when at last I find you Your song will fill the air Sing it loud so I can hear you Make it easy to be near you For the things you do endear you to me You know I will
I’d really like to see you cover some SRV ...or how about , Ain’t My Cross to Bear or In Memory of Elizabeth Reed (Allman Bro.). As always best guitar channel on RUclips , no question about it, you da man!
Beatles have many iconic songs......this one is forgettable......you are great though.....keep up the top notch lessons! You are Canadian....do a song by Rush! Bastille Day, Working Man, Anthem, A Passage To Bangkok, Freewill, The Spirit Of Radio. There are so many. That's just a small sample! Thanks!
Simple is not forgettable. Paul doing the bass with his mouth and the lead guitar on acoustic is classic. I played this song to my kids on a special occasion once because of the love and great soul to this classic.

This was so good I was stunned that Paul didn't start singing after the intro.........
Thanks for adding the guitar lick, adds so much to this wonderful very short tune.
Looks like a great song to practice chord changes and rhythmic strumming while singing.
One of my favorite Beatles tunes. ❤️

People that hate their selves and everyone around them don't know what else to do. Pray for them.

Elliot Easton stole one of these licks and put it in the cars My Best Friend's Girl and didn't mind telling people where the inspiration came from

I just realized you haven't done any chili peppers, whats up with that?
this is nothing like the original Beatles recording...listen and compare
It's how Paul plays it live. The album is tuned down a full step played with first position chords.
Cool
