    I recently learned that I'm not doing the glider strats appropriately. You're supposed to combine this wide glider turn with what's called a "Low Glider", where you press R / ZR on your controller right after your glider comes out. This will make your glider come out lower and it causes you to drop back to the ground faster. The glider strats on this course require you to basically hit it the way that I did, but also pair it with low glider

    Welcome to the fifth installment of my Bayesic Training series!
    In this video I break down the coin lines, mushroom strategies, and NISCs for Mario Circuit on 150cc. This course was an unexpected beast, with some of the mushroom strats and mini turbo strats being really unintuitive and challenging to learn. But that actually made it pretty fun to practice on
    Hope you all enjoy!
    One thing I forgot to point out. The reason we use two mushrooms on lap 1 is actually twofold. For one, it really does save a pretty good amount of time, but also it sets you up for good piranha plant cycles, otherwise you'd run into those bastards at the end of lap 1 and it would force you to take a worse line

    Just discovered your channel. Certainly my new favourite for learning how to properly play the game and to make sure I stay better than my friends! Great video. Please keep up the good content - it is clean and very helpful how to break down the components of the each part of the race. I also very much enjoyed your mini turbo video and have started to try to stop wiggling so much. Thanks

    Watched a few of your video now! The break drifting tip actually makes 200cc possible 🤣🤣

    great video!! i recently started doing time trials in mk8dx and your videos have helped me so much in improving my times (i could usually get within 3 seconds of your time after practicing the techniques in your pb’s)
    you have mentioned in this video how the biddy buggy drifts a bit different than the mr scooty because it’s a 4 wheeler, it would be great if you would elaborate on that and give your opinion on which one is better. keep up the great tutorials👍

    I’m enjoying your videos so much! In your 1-10 scale (mentioned in an earlier video in this series?), I’m probably around a 2-3, & still mostly play 150cc’s. Success at 200cc’s is a long way off for me, so I really appreciate your doing this series. So many of the strats are still out of reach for me, but the knowledge is great & they give me some goals & often a much better understanding of how drifting works under different circumstances. I especially appreciate your tips on small choices that help with control on ramps or turns, because at my skill level not bouncing off walls is one of my favorite things! 😆
    Honestly, while I am trying to improve my time trial speeds (cuz it’s very satisfying), what I want most is to occasionally beat my little brother in our weekly games, so I’m thrilled you’re adding some additional item suggestions too (& I can’t wait for your series on item management).
    Thank you for all the time you put into making these videos!!

    How come the flowers don’t come out of the pipes to bite you on the turns before the last ramp? If I drift too close to the pipes they’ll attack unless I use the turbo when they attack.

    Is it better to use 2 mushrooms on one shortcut for the first lap and none on the third than to simply use 1 mushroom each lap and go about it as you do on the second lap?

    • @Bayesic
      @Bayesic  3 года назад

      I’m a bit confused as to what you mean. In this video I think I do use two mushrooms on lap 1 and the one on lap 2
      If you’re asking why it’s faster to do it my way versus the 1-1-1 strat it’s basically because of the piranha plant cycles

    Great content ! Just wondering why not do the single mushroom strategy 3 times VS doing the double , single then no mushroom.

    • @Bayesic
      @Bayesic  Год назад +1

      I believe it's because it allows you to get a better cycle with the piranha plant on the first wide turn on lap 3

    Can anyone please explain me how world record players can charge their turbo so fast without any wiggle drift in mario circuit 200cc? As you guys can see in mario circuit 150cc world record, world record players do wiggle drift when they pass the wiggle drift sections of mario circuit 150cc. However, in 200cc, it seems that they charge their turbo really fast without any wiggle drift. How can they do it? I know that it might be related to soft drift. However, when I try soft drift in those sections, my kart eventually goes inside(dirt) too much. I want to know why they don't go to dirt when they keep maintaining soft drift. In other words, I want to know how they can maintain constant lines(this is what I'm most curious) and fast turbo charging at the same time. I recently started mario kart. So I don't have much information about some techniques. If someone explains to me in detail, I'd sincerely appreciate it! Thank you so much!

      It may be that their starting the turns at a different position which allows them to soft drift more easily. I still haven’t figured out the first long term on 200 cc in terms of doing it without any wiggling, but I can do the last couple of turns no problem
