For complicated strategies, could you record your controller inputs somehow?

It’s been requested a lot, and while I’d love to do it, as far as I can tell the only way to actually record controller inputs is to mod my switch, which I don’t really know how to do but also am kind of hesitant to do cause I don’t wanna get banned lol

Great vid! I didn't know the tidbit about waiting until the grass and not the sand. I learned that shortcut on 200cc first where it's more or less free so 150cc was super inconsistent for me.
One thing I would ask for future is maybe for these sandbagging courses include a quick montage of the different mushroom spots available for online play. Bonus would be maybe a little graphic at the top for how many mushies you need or even if it's a golden cut. Edit: Oh! Another bonus would be places to use Bills. I went from time trialing to online play and there was so much to learn for the extra cuts you can take! That's a very different video but these sandbagging courses would benefit from it.
Yeah I’m definitely planning on making two videos related to this topic. One is just about sandbagging in general, how it works and why it works, and the courses where you tend to see it used
But first I’ll probably put together a video showcasing all of the mushroom cuts with a passing mention of courses that are good for bagging. Honestly tho regarding the bills, I’m not super clear about how the extensions work, so I’ll probably just end up linking to other videos on the topic when I make my bagging video

It’s amazing that this course has no gliders, also the fact that doing mini turbos anytime u can saves 7 seconds
There’s one glider but it doesn’t get a lot of action haha

@@OneMindReezy apparently under the right circumstances you can use it to cut the big wall at the end of the lap

Awesome vid bro the Nisc Tutorial was amazing I used to just not cut off the tires at all And i managed to get 1:29.8 Which i’m extremely happy bout as i had a 1:30.9 with the glider but managed to inprove a lot using the full world record Strats

I spent hours mushrooming to cut the first turn and drift boost with a hop to jump the tires in the last turn. Much faster :)

Another great video thanks. Is there a reason you don't do all the extra hopping/mini turbos for your own run?
It’s basically just cause they are pretty small time saves and they’re hard to do in such a way that it actually saves time. I usually only work on each track for a week so I like to tackle the biggest time saves first
I gotta try running this course with the shroomless, the consistent setup would be helpful!
Please cover the 200cc speedrun of this course. Imo one of the most fun courses to speedrun since it requires a lot more precise tricks.

Hey Bayesic! At 9:57 you mention the importance of neutral hopping for this shroomless shortcut, which you touch on in some of your other Time Trial tutorials as well. Does neutral hopping simply carry you further horizontally than a left or right hop can?
I think technically it has to do more with how fiddling with the joystick slows you down, so neutral hopping allows you to keep more speed through the jump
