I think as a child we’re told things need to be fair. And as an adult we realize it’s not that way
Wonder why so many adults can't accept life isn't fair. Imagine someone that has been playing soccer his whole life from as a kid and he can't bare the fact that he doesn't have the genes for soccer. While another guy has good soccer genes and can learn the same things in a shorter time span. But he doesn't even use it. Life is completely unfair for everyone but some can't accept it.

babes, not only as a child you are being told. You are being told over and over and over and over and over and over and over again that this society is somehow meritocratic in nature and that everyone has a fair chance at life. Meritocracy is embedded in culture due to the fact that the society can not survive without the commitment of the individual to the group. Love and fairness is what you have all been sold in order to enslave yourselves to a life of servitude, pay your taxes and procreate.
It's not that someone told you a story when you were a kid. The myth of meritocracy is embedded in religion, school, politics, family life and business. Imagine that every child that grows up would be told that this world is savagery and you must step on dead corpses to survive. How stable would a society be based on such beliefs? We'd be back to the middle ages in no time. At its core life is meritocratic in its true nature however humans have created throughout history systems of oppression in order to protect their privilege. The curent democratic system is nothing but a farce because it is only a cosmetisised play meant to distract you from what the people in power are actually doing both in society and with your brain because believe me they are fully in control of what you think you know.

God of the Bible did not create individual fairly, some people are born lucky with intelligence to help them solves their everyday problems easily and to understand the Bible, others are born not that intelligent enough, they have difficulty to solve their life's problem making their life more miserable than those lucky ones, they didn't not understand bibles even they tried to read and understand it due to their weak brain. We know God is just and God is Love but there's no bible verse stating that God equally loves all person, they are born lucky they have easy life because their brain can handle those problems. I really feel sorry for the unlucky ones. God of the Bible is really unfair, I do believe in everlasting life that sins will still occur, Envy will still be committed by those people even there is no food scarcity.

Here I am, sitting in the comments section alone with school and my parents just pushing me to my breaking point, where I want to say goodbye to this world. I feel like life sucks the way it is today because there are unfair powers that certain groups of people can take advantage against others. Take the parents for example: the only thing that comes to mind for some of the parents is for their child to have the best grades possible or not do something bad, even though the kids want to make their dreams come true without worrying about education making their dreams shatter. Schools can take advantage of giving many homework to students so they have less time to socialize or hang out with their families or whatever. If anyone has been reading this so far, then you have received my trust to help me feel much better in today’s standards, because I’ve been struggling with all my school stuff and the family issues.
I hope one day we both find a path that brings happiness to our hearts
the schools are just as useless as your dreams and aspirations which have been put in place by society through culture yet you can't live without them. The destiny of humans is to become trapped in a prison of their own making in their pursuit for progress in order to defeat death.

My main anger towards the unfairness in life is that most of the cruelest and most uncaring people in the world have the best life possible. Those who have treated me like a walking cancer for no reason at all my whole damn life have lives filled with happiness, partners, children etc and no matter how hard I tried to achieve the same things it never worked😔Women saw me as unwelcome in life, jobs I could so I was rejected for a d friendships I sought went nowhere. Since I was a child, it has always seemed as though all of reality is engineered to torment me and be my living hell. We are told to chose a career path, get a degree and your life will be better. Nobody tells you that to get to that point you need to be privileged, you need a ton of money. Otherwise you are riddled with debt, stress, and mental frustration. You need a good job to do well in life but you can’t have a good job without a degree and experience, but school is very expensive. You will acquire debt that you cannot pay off and your life just became that much more difficult. The world revolves around money and if you’re not fortunate to have money, life won’t be worth going through any more
Partially true. But the shittier out financial situation is the more fulcral it is to be able to see what trully matters in life. And how we relate to ourselves, inner peace, frirndship, kindness having fun...humor etc....all these intangíble things are super important. And when you create the.....it helps find better ways to deal with the survival thing.

maybe if your child isnt disable he would've been a psychopath an addict a sex traffiker a narcissist an evil able person maybe you'll have no growth with an able person maybe that disable child is a lesson for you for something you lack maybe you gonna learn something maybe you are the chosen one for taking care with a disable person because you have the best empathic heart for this child and everyone arent the best for him and you are the best at taking care of him maybe he is the only one able to heal your hidden disabiities maybe he is a good reminder for those who taking their everyday ability for granted and not show much gratitude those are the real disabled not your child

@@Patrick22557 im not advice you i understand you exactly because i suffer a lot from mental health and suicidal taughts i think that patience and truth are the best remedies for our sufferring and have faith in the one who create us thats what put me in the right line and i receiveied some wisdom and strengh from my chellenges what i said earlier is an advice for me too we all need to stay calm at the night to see to see the rising sun of tomorrow but if we overthing all night and not calm ourselves we will sleep in the morning and missing so many sun rises due to our overthinking and stressing oneselves all night which symbolise our dark moments and sleep is a reminder of us to stay calm at dark becuase the morning is coming which symbolise the freedom and hope ill always pray for you and for your child oneday youll realise how much he is such a gift be present with him to receive

I am so sorry that you are suffering at the moment. I was in a similar mindset a few weeks ago, and getting back to spirituality in general such as buddhist concepts helped me a lot. I've always known life wasn't fair and it is fair to understand that. For me, I just wish it would let up. I wish that whatever pressure that is being pressed upon me by some invisible force would finally let up for once. It's almost become predictable when bad things happen to me. I want the good things to be more noticeable not the bad. I've done everything everyone's told me to do to to overcome these negative situations. I try and be more "positive" and I mean genuinely. I've tried everything and its like the harder I resist, the worse it gets. I can't keep pretending that the demon that follows is trying so hard to make sure i know how much he is screwing things up for me. I pray to God and something I feel like there's a little relief but there always the storm that lingers down the road. That storm you can't avoid. I just want to look forward and see the light and know that it will be better when I get there. And yes, I am well aware that there will be struggles always. But can they please stop coming at me with full force like a nuclear bomb?? I don't mind the minor inconveniences. And I'm okay with the occasion catastrophe but when its back to back... somethings got to give ya know? I will say that knowing that I'm not alone. I just wish there was something that could be done. Something to help dig us out of these graves of hell. We want to live peaceful lives. That's all anyone wants I hope. I pray that everyone's life will get better.

Tough realising that life owes me nothing. It's hard for people who were born after the 90's. Cause their more spoilt, demanding of life. Their told allot of lies by parents, society that they can manifest anything they want. Utube videos, people like Tony Robinson have done so much damage.

In elementary school my teacher said i was a child and I was called a spoiled brat just for being bullied at school and I did not want to go to school

This is exactly what i am going through now - being always kind to others, sharing compasion and love and like many others, I felt I deserved some of that goodness back into my life, by way of having certain expectations and they did not matched with my desired outcome and now I am questioning lifes unfairness and why this is happening to me? Where I have selflessly given so much to society, where you do expect some rewards for good behaviour and they don't materialise. I do however feel, I am awarded with little things in life, I have shelter, food, water and a beautiful son, I am healthy and I can see and hear through my eyes and ears, I am still able to enjoy lifes abundance, so maybe its about appreciating the little things we already have and not just focusing on what we don't have.

Other people usually make it that way (society and the way it is stuctured. Additionally, lots of selfish, uncaring people out there unfortunately).., Also sometimes, the randomness of it. It's also sometimes our own stupid, unwise decisions that bring about our suffering upon ourselves. I know that this is what I have discovered being around 35 plus/40 years of age.

Some situations like being in an abusive relationship should not, perhaps cannot be accepted. I know from experience trying to accept THAT situation will only shut you down. But if you, even through your tears, one day at a time, you keep working eventually you'll have the money to move out, the next time he blows up. I am there. It is an odd place on this other side- not jubilant, kind of blank, neutral, spiritual calm acceptance. But yes before the calm everything seems very unfair.
I want so much better for myself but why would life care? It makes me unhappy to know we exist and the universe may or may not care about our expectations and needs

Living is a mystery for us to be our best in all of the situations that we have. Lessons learned always bring us to gratitude for all of the blessings we have regardless of the circumstances of our lives.

I agree that the ability to live with a new adventure of discovering your own personal journey is a strange and challenging experience.
I am very grateful that I have made this transaction and I don't miss the things that I used to define my life around.
I still have some of my previous friends who have loved me and enjoy my company. I admit that I was not expecting to lose people who I considered lifelong pals.
I don't drink alcohol, I can't do athletic stuff, I am not defined by my work. I am very interested in new endeavors that are different from the past.
I don't think that it is important to dwell on the past ,it is entirely different from my current life.
My love and the joy of living is just as strong. I read more, I have learned way more about what is really important for me to thrive and flourish.
Eating healthy foods is a great adventure for everyone in developing new tastes and eating habits. I have made some new friends who are interested in the same things that I find fascinating.
I sew, I garden, I swim, I write daily, I am on utube, which is very odd for me, And I don't compare myself with others, or with my own younger years. I have met many people who are artists and their own perspectives and views are very compatible with mine.
I am open to the world with a variety of options and I am never bored or even regretful. Life is precious and change is inevitable and constantly happening.
I wish you well and a gift for learning to live with peace and joy in the journey of exploration and building a new relationship with wonderment and awe in expressing your own personal creativity and dreams.
Take a leap of faith and trust in your heart to achieve the success of being alive and focusing on what is a blessing now as you are now regardless of the circumstances. Have fun!

What I learned from this episode is that what matters is what's inside of you, every situation can be an opportunity for you to either make yourself better through it or make yourself worse, even a good situation like life giving you what you want can make you appreciate and thankful for that and It can also makes you arrogant. Fairness is a human concept. Play with the hand you are dealt. The more you concentrate on how things ‘should’ be the more pissed off you will get.

Unfairness in my opinion stems from childhood, the environment we grow at strives to raise rights and equality, and that shows even in the movies we watch or how we teach our children, we also have that circumstances where we needed to make sense of unfair advantages among people of different individuality (some people being more favorable etc.) That resulted us to create systems that doesn't apply to all situations, thus hurting our ego when not established, for example at jobs, we made systems that tells us when we are fit for that certain job and we just have to follow it, but then other factors like beauty, timing and status might affect how the hiring might go, thus making us feel like we did our best though still rejected. I think we should be taught at the very first that life doesn't always bless you no matter how diligent or kind you are. We should have been taught that life is more like a random fate, and that mind power is the most importabt thing if we want to succeed.
But what if im aware of the fact that "life is life" and that's what makes me unhappy with it. Seems like a waste of time doing this. I dont even feel depressed. I feel like this is a long car ride im irritated with and never even requested to join

Fairness can be brought in life by us and only us when we realize the "Laws" of Life... Such as Law of Attraction, Law of Karma, Law of Giving and Receiving, Law of Opposites, etc.

The whole stoic attitude of observation non judgement etc is not actually good for living an amazing life. It is a pessimistic view of life who haven't found it to make it work their way. Sometimes all we can do is surrender and accept, but we don't have to accept and surrender on bad situations or things. We can pray. And that is powerful.
I'm feeling this right now, I participated in a draw in which the prize was worth 7k and if I won I would use it to repair 4 teeth but as life is very unfair the person who won was precisely a dentist who wasn't even that happy after all because she makes this award every two days. Very unfair world!
Maybe the terminology of "fairness" is an oversimplification and misleading
BUT there are definitely ppl that have it easier than others. Others that seem to suffer WAY MORE than others. And that's upsetting and frustrating to say the least. Like why do others have to adjust their thinking to deal with life while others just have it good.

Then why do we masquerade around as if we have ideals and values as a species at all, if actual life follows none of those. Why not just not behave amorally if life is not fair? This is a true philosophical question.

Karma isnt measuring the goodnrss of your actions. Karma are the contents of your consciousness. If you were traumatized and dont heal from those emotions life Will most likely keep reflecting back to you painful experinces. THAT is karma - life is a mirror of your thoughts and feelings.

First, isn't it good that you get what you deserve if you did something bad.
Second, if life is unfair to you, that means you will always experience bad things, if you deserve it or not. So life being fair or unfair will not change the fact that you can get raped, murdered or kidnapped anytime.

Mortal life. Is not fair. It’s filled with hard times. Because we live out our mortal lives in a cursed and a broken world. Filled with ancient evils which still draw breath even now. But GOD is fair. And we can expect fairness from Him. Him only. Because to me He is the Only Fair One. Even now while I am in trial and He did not shield me from this harm against my house. I pray to GOD He might heal and strengthen and help my body to be able to rest. To be able to move forward as well in some freedom.
One of the nicest people I knew died suddenly. Her son was an infant & she didnt just die, she suffered. She was a born again Christian and thats what made me into an atheist, why would god torture & kill a girl who lived life by his rules? She deserved better, should be alive with her son & enjoying life.
They will come all by themselves...stop chasing after them....I know someone needs to hear this including myself....

What makes me think life is unfair is that there are some people like Jeff bezos or Andrew tate that are living life to the fullest without having to worry about anything because they have millions or even billions. Meanwhile I’m over here crying on my birthday because my parents can barely pay for mortgage, bills, insurance and all of that stuff, my parents are also sometimes sad because of this. It’s just so unfair that some people are over here crying, barely being able to pay debts and bills and food. While these people of course have no complaints. It’s just.. why, why me. Nope nope, in a way it makes sense in a way it is super depressing. Luck / fortune/ intangibles of being at the right place or doing the right thing at the right time, not necessarily being perfect... Plays a bigger role much bigger role than most people realize... You can pour all your efforts into writing a book, trying to please a crush, trying to save some regional your home state, etc but sometimes just no matter what you do it just won't work out, so you just have to make the most of the available situations I suppose there until something works or something works again, and it is depressing that we can burn out on certain hobbies and basically never want to do it again, or at least this is a BPD kind of thing maybe lmao... But for sure it helps to know to remember the bad times during the absolute stellar times to make it feel better and know that when it doesn't work out it isn't all your faults and when it works great it isn't all just because you're great xD sounds counterintuitive, but trust me it works wonders

The reality of life is that sometimes people don't get enough food and die of starvation, and as a spiritual person you're more likely to die this way because Christians wont think your life has value and they hold the power within society. This is just life.
I think we get the idea of life being fair is we have and i know i have def seen some people who have had amazing lives and lived it to fullest till and old age, then others abused, broke, in debt and holding on the the little dreams we have left. Its not fun no, i get scared that the dreams in my heart wont get fulfilled before i leave this earth, because in reality to do things like see many countries of visit many cultures requires money. No bank will let you do this without paying what you owe first.
At least you can be glad that you are not struck by some awful and unhealable illness of bodily handicap ,because than the life becomes even a thousand times more unhappy than it was before ....

For me it’s unfair cause I have to work since I’m 11 till now doing physical labour the only upside is I’m stronger than all my seniors and classmates but still the downside outweighs it a lot sleeping late going home tired getting scolded getting burnt and carrying heavy stuff and not being able to have time for myself to hang out or how many people I rejected so many people that I actually wanna be in a relationship with is just that I can’t fit her into my schedule I don’t promise what I can’t do so I just hide my feelings for her even when she said she loved me I can’t respond the same way cause of my personal problems and nobody knows only you guys so it’s very stressful

I try to teach my kids fair and unfair by giving one a dollar and giving another two… something like that. It’s my money and I’m giving it and that’s fair. They argue a bit but it’s fair, maybe not good but fair. So there is fair, we just don’t always like fair.

So the question is , can we live in acceptance without any effort, without the me saying "I have to accept it" because then, it still is a problem, but if you live like that, naturally then there will obviously be no more problems and one will progress much faster in everything he does. Or is it in our nature to be full of desires and expectations and therefore distort the reality, avoiding truth ??

There may initially be some effort to accept, but true acceptance is effortless in that it's a releasing of resistance, a relaxing into the moment, a surrendering to what is. Why not use an analogy with nature? Why do I ask that question? Because it is how I see that life is unfair and that it’s not “supposed “ to be “fair” life is just life.

Actually life is supposed to be exceedingly good. Karma is supposed to be the law unto life. But lets say sometimes life or God is wrong. It happens, it happens. Life is not supposed to be full of difficulties. It is supposed to be good and easy. If it was not supposed to be that way, we wouldn't have a divine desire in our heart in the beginning for it to be so.

I ask in response to this video: Why is life the way it is? What is the purpose of life being as unfair as it is if it only results in displeasure and suffering? If you believe in a creator, why is it that this creator made life this way? If you believe in causality, you believe every effect has a reason or a cause for it happening. All of life and it’s organisms function under this principle. Something created these systems that we operate within, but why is it so? We don’t know. What if the creator of life isn’t as good as we believe him to be? Well, then going along with life’s systems and this “radical acceptance” is the radical acceptance of evil. I disagree with the notion of ‘just because it is, it must be good.’

You lived your life and died.
However, post mortem you get the chance to speak with god and ask one question, you ask:

I want to help others but i got rejected along the way so i dont know if they will use me or break me then when i say i cant do it right now they think im selfish when actually i help them they do not like it and call me a people pleaser when i just want to help others!!

First, life can never be truly fair. It's impossible.
Second, if something happens to someone doesn't mean they deserve it. Rape, kidnapping, etc. are not some things anyone deserves.
