Life is unfair but if you are able to read this on a new phone, in a warm home, without being hungry or thirsty then you are already having a head start against at least 50% of the population.
yeah but thats what makes me sadder, i feel so sad for the other homeless, hungry, thirsty people out there even kids... well i live in turkey thats a whole unfair thing. i always thank my life to have some money, warm house and etc but we're getting worse about life (poor in money, justice etc yk) day by day as a country. our situation as a family is not that bad but we barely can reach stuff we want as teenagers. even education and health system are like crap. we all wanna run from the country but lol we need money for that too. whatever you might know how bad turkey is so...

Life is definitely unfair. You can work just as hard as another person, yet circumstances can still affect your results. Should we then continue to compare ourselves to others? No. I think that there is beauty in the story of overcoming financial and mental struggles just as much as taking longer.
I know a guy who cheats on his life partner with many women yet he still have successful career & living a safe life. I know some of my friends bought / cheated their bachelor thesis and work at Shopee / have lucrative jobs, because they got it before the pandemic hit in 2020. I was one of those book smart students in school. And you are absolutely right, now that I am a little older, I know for a long time that there are more types of intelligence which I am not good at. Creativity, social interaction, emotional intelligence. I am bad in all of that. I am doing ok now, but not as good as I could, I guess.
Haven't seen the video as of yet, bit I still feel like this quote is important "saying you shouldn't be unhappy because others have it worse is like saying you shouldn't be happy because others have it better"
Yeah that never made any sense. But to be honest telling people to be ok with whatever they are and have would be in her worst interests so I don't think we can except her to ever say that!!!
Hi Ruri, I realized that when I change my mode positively my life improves. Mostly I was getting what I believe that. Despite the fact, I am still fragile. Whenever I have little tiny problems, I can't prevent going back. I guess I need to prepare a more powerful routine for the rest of my life.
I understand all the points you wanted to convey but I honestly believe that not everything can be circled around to become an advantage. if you were born in Eastern Europe for instance you could be as ambitious as much as you want but it would be 10times more difficult to achieve a normal life standard. Just like in the Middle East for instance. There are still some countries where it is better to be born than in others, and there is no way to spin it around. Other points make sense ofc.
That's the same feeling I had watching this video. There are some systems that actively work against a person, much like how the United States has systems set in place to disenfranchise black people, that can make overcoming them extremely difficult. That being said, I'm more in the mindset that communities and working together with others can and usually do help in overcoming and changing the systems at play to enfranchise one another. Also, of course, working towards yourself and empowering yourself, but understanding the systems at work and what changes need to be made to get to where you want to be. It's both realizing one's personal strengths and the strengths of communities.
Existence is designed to work against each individual, in some way. Believing that not everything can be turned into an unfair advantage is a fatalistic and limited view on existence. Allowing One’s life to be ultimately dictated by their circumstances is weakness. Period. There are PLENTY of people born in the Middle East/Eastern Europe who have used such to their advantage. Simply because you are not aware of any, does not imply they do not exist. If you believe there are some unfair advantages that cannot be such.. Well, you’re correct. If One believes everything has potential to be such, and it’s all a matter of perspective and how One chooses to use it.. Well, that person is, also, correct.

You inspire me to be better each day! I’m watching all of your videos! Thank you very much for sharing a lot of good informations, experiences. You’re the first person that mention one feeling that I was believing to be the only one person in this world feeling this… My grandparents were Japanese🇯🇵 but I was born in Brazil 🇧🇷 (my parents also). For Brazilians, I’m Japanese, but I’ve been in Japan, and definitely I’m not because I can’t speak properly, and my appearance is different. I’m living in UK now, so for them, I’m Chinese 🇨🇳 😂 (a lot of Chinese stay angry when I don’t answer them in Mandarin or Cantonese). I’ve been in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and I realised that maybe, my ancestors can be from there, because I saw a lot of people like me😂. When my husband ask something, the people answer me in Cantonese and not him in English😅. Some people were so mad, because I told them my background. It’s so sad… Maybe just Asians can understand these differences… Thank you for create a “world” that we can be “accepted”! “Diversity” that’s the word! Less pre-conceptions, judgements! For a better world!Multicultural! 🌎❤️

Hey Ruri thanks for summarising the book. I find your points very poignant especially the part on intelligence. Emotional intelligence is often overshadowed by academic intelligence but those who do well in their careers are often those of high EQ. Great vid

i agreed you mostly , you can benefit from those unfair advantages and its double edge sword depends on awareness & ambition you have
Really! You're doing great ruri....!! 👍
I've watched a lot of productivity videos and I feel like it's for it to get to your head, but this is genuinely life changing advice!

Jean-Paul Sartre said” Breathe! Everything happens for a reason!” Ruri explains why, in this video! Thanks Ruri for the inspration many more people one more time as usual!😊🙏

My unfair advantage is, that I will never link „richness“ with money & that makes me so happy :)

This was A Good Reminder for us Thank You
This title and the way it was worded.
That was intelligence.
Well played.
Ruri, that also applies on me as well. During my high schoolers, my place's living costs are so expensive and the environment are totally toxic. I dont like that and i was been misfits for 2 years. Then, i feel highly priveledged when i was relocated in rural area with cheaper living costs plus a real good environment. Salam from Malaysia and thank u fr the sharing Ruri
Your videos are really one of the most soothing videos i have ever seen but theres something i noticed, why were you crying? idk if its terars or what but the lower part of ur eyes were watery..don't cry u provide us one of the most comforts and paths which many can't... u r a hero for us

Thanks Ruri,
I just discovered your channel and it came like a bless right now in my life, I was really going through a bad mental breakdown with all of those subjects you know so well how to talk about it. It's like you're resolving all the issues I had in my mind since so many years.. and I can see it differently now. Thanks to this video and the failure video one.
Thank you very much for these i'll subscribe to your content 😊
I am so obsessed with your videos ❤
Yes, life is unfair because I have done the work harder and more but it still 💔
@user-jy9rq8nj7q It's so frustrating and kind of felt trapped and stuck
Thanks Ruri for making this video, your videos are very informative, helpful and inspiring.. I love watching your vlogs too, You are awesome.
Thank you dear friend for this class and formation and please do it more....
You're right! We should know first what we wanna do. I'm still figuring it out
Work hard, be kind and you'll see amazing things happen.
Hi Ruri, this is the first of your videos I have watched. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You sound extremely intelligent and it is an advantage to me that you are able to talk about these challenges we all face. I have unfair advantages in my life that sometimes can feel like a burden. I practice gratitude to remind myself of that things are always working out for me and to appreciate the contrast and lessons.
A great watch on how humanity is defined ruclips.net/video/S5f5zKsN1DE/видео.html,
Hey Ruri thanks for summarising the book. I find your points very poignant especially the part on intelligence. Emotional intelligence is often overshadowed by academic intelligence but those who do well in their careers are often those of high EQ. Great vid
Ruri iyiki bu kanalı açmışsın gerçekten bana bazı konularda karar vermemde çok çok çok yardımcı oluyorsun çok teşekkürler
Life is exactly what we deserve. Few ...
tysm ruri, you have no idea how your videos help me!
This is weird, I've been struggling with some mental battle and how I get discouraged when I'm not achieving anything but this is actually really helpful and its weird how this is pretty recent
Very good point of view, Ruri.
You are a smart young lady. Reading books actually makes the difference.
🥰❤️
@@ruriohama Which country do you belong to? Japan?
I don’t know why , but I can listen to her all day😊
I'm watching this while procrastinating and comparing me with others and of course overthinking... I can't believe I'm such a pro avoiding the things I must do to reach my goals.
Well said, you explore this topic really deep and practical as well. Mindset matters and like the idea to appreciate connecting to others in order to learn from others. Like the way u make this video🙏
Omg I was waiting for this video! Glad you made one :)
dat really strong point. u help me thank.
Great video, pretty much different from "failure". You covered this perfectly, thanks, Ruri.
The real unfair advantage is when you want to read a book about unfair advantages then it costs 15dollars which means nearly 200 turkish liras. Then you realize again, location is destiny, as we already know. ¦|
