It's a beautiful song and Justin Haywards voice has such emotional impact, I grew up listening to him in my childhood and now in my twilight.

Love this song. It’s a mood but when in THAT mood it’s perfect. A great song to wallow in when you’re hurting ✌🏼😂

I will never forget this song playing on the TV show "Wiseguy" just before Sonny Steelgrave killed himself. You had to be watching it to understand the complete shock and sorrow. Permission was not given to use Knights in the DVD version of that story arc on Wiseguy which removed so much of the impact of the ending.

I discovered it when you did it on the live chat 😊 I really love the mood actually 🎻🎶😉

Just so you know, it also sounds like this on their album "Days of Future Passed" only it has the spoken poem at the end. I was 20 years old in 1967 when this was released and the whole album was just jaw dropping when a group of my friends and I got together to hear it for the first time. We all were students at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, at the time. So many memories of that initial listening, none of us said a word during the entire album...it was such an experience.

Thanks for reacting to this. I have not heard the song in ages. Did not know if you had reacted to the song "Foreign Sand" by Roger Taylor, might be worth a listen.

This performance of Nights in White Satin didn't include the poem Late Lament that's usually at the end of the song... it was written by Graeme Edge....somehow the song doesn't seem complete without it.
