      Add solar to the top to auto-power the fan and an adjustable timer for the mist sprits and you have yourself a great hot day patio umbrella. Though, now it's probably going to be a 500 dollar umbrella.

    James, you're just too kind. For this price, I think it's a dud. The fan only works for still wind conditions and the mister doesn't seem to mist, it rains. I think the bottle hanging at the bottom would be too heavy for me after awhile, too.

      If they had an adjustable, battery-operated mister either built into the handle or just above the head, it would be a winner. And yeah humid-weather gadgets are tough for me, although I've done a couple while traveling, such as the Koldtec Towel.

  • @DarKnightKilla13
    @DarKnightKilla13 Месяц назад +19

    Seems to me like as a proper UV/sun-blocking umbrella it's well made... but the fan and mist features need a little more fleshing out. Nice to see the batteries last a ridiculously long time instead, though. Guarantees at least a full day of use. This certainly seems to also not be a good product for humid areas, although the fan might be kind of alright. I think some of these products just need a few tweaks, like a bigger and stronger fan motor and then bam it's good to go.

    The point of the fan is a light freeze to cool the mist, so if there’s a breeze outside you won’t feel the fan On.
    And it sprays the top of the umbrella and soaks the mesh so the fan is blowing cool air. I think a better understanding of the intended use would have helped you lol, but if there’s average person doesn’t know then that’s the company’s fault lol.

    The only real use for something like this would be at an amusement park imo. It's the only place you would have access to free water, would probably be out in the sun long enough to warrant using it, and have enough places to rest or prop the umbrella down so your arms don't get tired. At around $50, it's not outrageously expensive for an umbrella. It's a bit expensive but not so much that it's complete nonsense to get this over a regular umbrella. Especially since the umbrella itself seems pretty well-made.

    speaking of batteries--- could you check pale blue rechargeable batteries? they look interesting-- each individual battery can be recharged with a usb-c. not sure if i'm ready to pull the trigger. love to see you test them.

    i would think if you put ice or put the bottle in the freezer for a bit till it started to freeze it might make a difference. you have to try it as an umbrella in a storm

    Feel like this is a good idea if it was like, maybe 5x bigger, could connect it to a big jug, was more stable and was automatic so you could set it to mist every couples minutes or something for a picnic or at the beach. So basically change like, almost everything about it lol
