    Very cool!! I wish GD would use 30 gallon propane tanks, though. The bedroom is nice and roomy. Love all the windows. Best thing in this rig: that roll up screen door!!!! That is absolutely amazing. Our old bodies need recliners but I'm pretty sure that's about all that would keep this from being a great camper for us.

    It's nice for what it is, but what it is isn't what we want it to be, because what we want it to be is a Reflection 341RDS. Having said that, the intro was absolutely brilliant. Murderhobos need more representation on social media and the RV industry.

But I really took some time to kind of sit in it and digest it. Nice toy hauler. It would be nice if one of these manufactures would put some kind of system in the floor for a motorcycle front tire chock . Condor Motorcycle Chock company makes some great chocks. But like all motorcycle chocks you have to screw them to the floor. That can be difficult cause you don't know what's underneath the floor.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  Год назад +2

      Most of them use a floor that could allow you to mount one where you'd like it. I think the challenge with doing that from the factory is trying to predict "the right place to mount it."
      Every person buying an RV seems to have a different idea when it comes to that stuff. People can't even agree on where to mount a toilet paper holder in a bathroom lol

    • @Natedoc808
      @Natedoc808 8 месяцев назад

      I use two rubber wedge type chocks, one front/rear of front tire and wrap a ratchet strap around them, then just use handlebar soft tie straps to hold 'em in place. Never had a problem. I have a buddy who made an attachment for E-track to the D-Rings and then welded e-track tabs onto a metal wheel chock- I'm no fabricator so I went with my redneck version that I can put anywhere.

    Now, were I to go for one of those with a sofa and murphy bed behind it in the front, I'd have that whole assembly ripped out and replaced with kind of multi-use sofas in the cargo bay to save weight. I am looking at this from a whole different perspective. Most people see an RV as what it is. I see it for what it CAN be. I want a couples camper with tall ceilings (6'7" husband) that I can easily make my own. Out comes the fold down seating and in goes the sofa with storage and a recliner and BAM...we have a couples camper! Maybe we could have the indoor furniture be outdoor furniture so that it could serve double duty on the patio even! I absolutely LOVE that the microwave is low. Even though I am tall (5'10") every time I use mine, I fear a mishap when pulling out hot food from my microwave perched above the stove. I don't mind the fact that this does not have an oven. I haven't used mine in at least three years because I find a way to cook EVERYTHING outside so that food odors, heat, and unneeded moisture are not in the camper. The table looks very similar to the one we use now when camping and is truly multi-functional with the varying heights. I like that there is clothing storage at the foot of the bed and not just at the sides as many have. I can certainly see some possibilities for this one even though we don't have ANY toys!😄

    • @JoshtheRVNerd

      19:34 I’m not sure what you’re seeing, but that couldn’t be a black tank flush on that wall. That wall goes directly into the loading and living space. The Walter not thick enough to offer a black flash to hide within it.

    A bit late to the party, but a lot of people prefer tanked water heaters when boondocking for comfort. When you're taking a military shower with most RV tankless water heaters, turning the water back on often results in a blast of cold water (the water in the system between the heater and the shower head that has had a chance to cool down) followed by scalding hot (the water that was sitting in the hot heater) until you get to the water that entered the heater when you started back up. When you don't have the consistent water flow and easy draining of hookups, a water heater with a tank is better at providing consistent temperatures. That said, my old water heater would use close to 10 pounds of propane just to get a tank up to temperature, so you sometimes just have to pick which inconvenience you want to deal with.

    Loving the adult sized drop down bunk over the dinette/sofas. It doesn't take up space like a traditional bunkhouse, you don't have to convert the dinette/sofa and lug out all of the bedding each night, and it easily lifts up out of the way during the day. Too bad this concept hasn't made it into traditional travel trailers for lazy people like me who want something smallish, simple, and sleeps several people without the fuss. It would be cool to have rear living space with wrap around windows and drop down bunk (as seen in this toy hauler) but without the tie downs, tacky metal legs on the sofas/dinette, and open back patio for the gas station murder hobo to come snatch your kids.

    To quote the eminent Dr. "Bones" McCoy..."Dammit Josh, I'm a doctor, not a proctologist!!!" ( that's from 1 of the episodes)...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣....I'm pretty sure ya know "Unka" Josh that the Doc is in the house...and right near the begining of the video, I had a question pop into my tiny cluttered mind....you point out that there is NO oven and NO option for one, but with all of the modular kitchen appliances out in the uni'sphere , you can purchase a very good size and capable counter top/table top "Toaster" oven/air fryer for less than $300 cdn from any big box store or on Amazon, so it would seem that it almost makes a built in oven redundant , so IMHO, and fully wanting and respecting yours, is a built in needed?...especially if you add a more useful solar package...like 6-800 watts...lmao....then you can run away to the ocean or lake side, and hide away from ...ewwwww...people, and the gas station murder hobos what are out thar lookin' for y'all....anyway, just a wonderin'....peace out Nerd Herd, from Doc, in the Great White( kinda green now) North of southern Ontario, Canada🍁🍁🍁

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  Год назад +1

      I 100% agree regarding appliances. You'll see a lot of comments on this video where people mention disliking the lack of oven. I've learned in my years of doing this a large number of viewers or potential buyers really walk in with specific expectations - often shaped based on what they expect to be in a "kitchen" based on a house.
      But an RV is not a house necessarily and kind of like a hotel room doesn't always need to be equipped the same. Everyone feels differently about that, though.
      I did some reading on different aspects of the human imagination and found there's actually two kind of people in this regard -- those who can picture things that aren't there or can literally mentally imagine something that isn't there. And those who can only see exactly what is.
      And they're not usually aware of the other's existence so they get very confused by one another.
