While I agree that ikari would become redundant I feel like one big kind of glossed over change is the absolute gains krillin and gohan have compared to their canon selves. Krillin being close to 2nd form frieza is wild, and Gohan at FOUR million? Wasn't he just 200k in the original? It's possible that with him being that much stronger, he could potentially get super saiyan earlier in the android arc. Or he could possibly get Ikari instead of super saiyan. After all, while gohan was mindless as an oozaru he got it under relative control when he used it against vegeta in canon.
Am I the only one who think that could have killed goku and vegeta Let me explain in the black arc (manga) there is a moment when goku and vegeta chose to stay in the future arc and to fight many fusioned zamasu without any energy and goku say "if only I was able to go super saiyan" So I thought if he could go ikari form cause if we follow the carthru logic an goku completely destroyed by the kaioken was still able to use it and in the black arc with vegeta he just don't have much energy so maybe I though instead of looking for an senzu(because he wasn't able to go SS) he would have immediately gone and ikari form with vegeta and fought the zamasu's and died and all the rest So ?

He's gone supersaiyan while oozaru. And gone kaioken while super saiyan and ssb. Why wouldnt he be able to stack kaioken? Kaioken plus ikari would match 50% freeza and kaioken Xs 4 would match 100%. Ikari would also lead to ssj4 in the future since ssj4 is basically ikari plus ssj

3 things 1st: Golden great ape and super kaioken aren’t cannon so bringing them up is pointless 2nd: to use the ikari form the user has to be angry while kaioken -requires a calm mind- requires ki control which is probably not easy when using a form literally called “Rage” 3rd: Ssj4 isn’t cannon

Shame the What If was so short, I'd have loved to see it progress further with Goku utilizing the Ikari alongside Super Saiyan (or at least experiment with them during Cell Games Saga), especially since Broly was able to do it.

Why couldn't Goku stack it? He's a genius when it comes to fighting and ki control. It would also give him a x500 multiplier which would have been sick!!
Ikari is a form that's basically super saiyan but more rage. Kaioken takes great ki control and a calm mind to activate. If in ssj alone, goku can't stack kaioken on top of it then how worse would it be for kaio ken? Elder kai states that combining kaioken with super saiyan wouldn't work because super saiyan is a form of rage, a form that needs intense emotion to activate, that conflicts with the calm mind necessary for kaioken. On top of other factors like how heavy the strain of the kaioken is on the body. Goku can combine it with SSJBLUE ONLY and possible ssj god too because god ki requires a calm mind aswell, it's to keep the ki inside the body instead of having it gush forth like other forms.
Oh come on Carthu, if anyone could figure out how to mix ssj and ikari It would be Goku, and the combination would be far stronger than ssj2 and ssj3, which could help out alot

It has similar restrictions to the kaioken but instead of a calm mind it needs a pure heart.
That's one of the most annoying things I keep hearing from other people with their ideas like if they had kidnapped Gohan that they would have trained him. When the fact is Vegeta and the others didn't train or believe in it they would have just thrown Gohan into battle expecting him to either sink or swim, lol
Ummm I was always under the impression that Ikari STACKED on top of other forms and techniques, rather than swapped with others. That’s part of what made Broly so dangerous and part of what made his SSJ form so OP.
No not really What made Broly so dangerous was his constantly raising base Power, one of the most important parts of Saiyan transformations, since transformations only exist to raise your current base Power You could see that in the beginning of the movie, Broly starting out getting absolutely dunked on by base Vegeta, but was eventually able to overwhelm super Saiyan Vegeta. Goku doesn't have Broly's constant battle raising power, which would make the Ikari form pointless after super Saiyan

Cell Saga. Goku would have totally tried to mix the Ikari form with the super Saiyan form. Which would have made hit stronger than super Saiyan 3. Also, Cell would probably have had access to the Ikari form. Much respect to you my dude. But there is so much that could have been done here with it.

Goku would probably want to master super saiyan and THEN add Ikari on top of it. Which would make a 10x multiplier on that version of super saiyan. So it would be 5x stronger than super saiyan 2. And Super saiyan 3 is said to be about 4x stronger than SsJ2
I really loved the video and it bringing the old concept of DB but Why is Goku's potential boost so low, you say this should be a zenkai equivalent instead of his potential but why should it? You immediately go back and give Krillin his potential boost and Gohan more potential than in the original quite near 100x then you say this should makes sense since this unlocks potential but why didn't you do the same with Goku. In another What if (What if Goku killed Vegeta) you do this perfectly where Goku gets 60x which makes sense since it should be more than his zenkai boost since Saiyans has a lot of potential then Krillin gets his original 50x which makes sense its lower than a Saiyan's then Gohan gets 70x this also makes sense since it should be higher than a regular Saiyan's

I always wondered why Gohan never had that love of fighting from his Saiyan side, Especially since Goten and Trunks seem to have it (at least as kids). And that got me think thinking, I would really love to see your take on a what if where Gohan enjoyed fighting like Goku does.
he just didn't. He was always more interesting in studying. But goten and trunks probably enjoy it due to vegeta raising trunks and chi-chi being more accepting of goten fighting and even training him.
Dude this story was amazing.. i honestly wish there were more writers like you at toei😂. I really hope they do something with the ikari form it’s something different than ss which some people are tired of and it delves more into sayain instinct and I think it would just be cool to see goku and vegeta access. Shoot it could even be a gateway for them to make ss4 canon. Even gohan accessing this for would be awesome. Nevertheless great story can’t wait for the next one.

Ikari form only useful to people like broly and cumber who have massive battle power in their base state. Even current goku not vegeta can't utilize it since their base battle power is complete joke against broly
I would argue that the Ikari form would lead to changes when Super Saiyan comes into play, from them trying to use both Saiyan born powers. Which, given SSJ4....

Goku can't use ssj and kaioken because ssj is too volatile IIRC and Ikari is an even more violent state so it makes sense that he can't do kaioken and Ikari; What doesn't make sense is that he can't mix Ikari and ssj for an even more powerful state like broly can.
I was going to ask where dende was through this, but I forgot he obviously would of been killed by dodoria due to how gohan couldn't of stalled their attack. Dang.
I wanted to recommend a few "What-Ifs" here that I would love to see you make: 1. What if Goku obtained UI while fighting Beerus? (Right after Beerus said "You are not the rival I was looking for." After he falls into the ocean, he goes back up but as UI Omen) 2. What if Goku was born with UI: Remake (I know you already talked about this, but I wanted to see this remade. This is because it is stated by Whis that UI uses God-Ki. In short, how strong you make Goku, he would still be sent to Earth as the scouter reads his power as "0" in Ultra Instinct. This means that you could give Goku a strong body, as the scouter won't read him no matter what) 3. What if Goku married Bulma instead? 4. What if Chi-Chi became a Saiyan? 5. What if Goku had Gohan's potential? (It is possible that Goku would die on planet Vegeta, but baby Gohan wasn't all that strong naturally. So because of this I could still possibly see Goku being sent to Earth) 6. What if Carthu was in Dragon Ball as a Saiyan?
I think a more fun question is what would have happened if Gohan, the character with the most potential and some early anger issues, had unlocked that power? Would it be as strong or would it possibly be stronger at it's peak?
I've got an idea for a 'What If'. I'm not sure if you have a plan for this idea, but I'm curious. Here is my idea: What if Gohan went Super Saiyan during the Frieza Saga? More specifically, sometime during the battle with Frieza, like Dende got killed by Frieza, Gohan thought back to the loss of the others during the battle with Nappa and Frieza in which Dende's death then pushes him to transform into a Super Saiyan. What happened if Gohan was the first to transform into a Super Saiyan? What do you think? Later and best wishes.

Now I'm even more curious about how the rest of Z, Super, and GT would've been altared if the only thing that changed is Vegeta never got it through his head to train and spent the entire Dragonball franchise getting stronger through nothing but zenkai boosts. But I just recently thought of another what if that I think you'll really like. What if King Kai did not forget about the amount of time Goku needed to run back to Earth on Snake Way, and as a result, Goku was there to help fight against Vegeta and Nappa from the very start?
did anybody notice how in the broly movie, broly was seemingly gaining a fair bit of control in his ikari form? While initially he was losing his shit, screaming like a caveman and pounding away at everything in his way, after broly had beaten down goku and goku powered up to blue, it seemed like broly had gained some control, which could explain why at some moments broly was seemingly smiling at goku's strength. Almost as if broly was having a bit of fun fighting goku, he was even able to pay attention to friezas words when frieza killed brolys father and shouted "BROLY LOOK!".
(Most of this was mic talk so if the is anything funny with spelling blame google) Post Story: Goku and gohan train during the three-year time skip given Gohan ikari same with future Gohan Plus Future Trunks( Gohan still dies in the future for story purposes) but he still uses Super Saiyan like per story but it would just make trunk a bit stronger all goes the same until the cell versus Goku, during the fight Goku realizes he can't win instead of giving up and turning to Gohan he tries a mixture of ikari and Super Saiyan something that he was trying to do during the time chamber Ark inside of the time chamber Goku and Gohan trained to try mixing them together for even more powerful transformation when Gohan turns Super Saiyan 2 Goku stop training ikari Super Saiyan and focused on Super Saiyan 2 so after he starts whooping cell with a 500 times multiplier the 10 times from ozaru and fifty from Super Saiyan cell trys to explode himself so Goku still sacrifices himself then after Gohan defeat cell like the show when babidi minions try to attack and Supreme Kai frieza's Gohan it does not work because since Gohan has Atari and Super Saiyan 2 he is too strong to stop and with that power Majin Buu gets released early just by the energy emitting from Gohan not even directly stealing it from him so Super Saiyan 3 Goku plus Atari Super Saiyan 2 Gohan fights boo and wins no rest of the Ark they are too strong beerus comes along a few years later and still beats Goku and rest but during the freezer Saga with even more training from wiss golden Frieza did not stand a chance same for hit Goku black would not have ikari form because of his British superiority stopping him from his "elegant rage" so vageta just Kills goku black during the first fight before zamasu gards him then they go back to the past to get something to seal zamasu and now the tournament of power ocean goes the same up until Ultra instinct with both him and being even more powerful Ultra Instinct sign should last a bit longer so Goku get off the punch nothing changes I just want to add that toppo versus Vegeta Super Saiyan blue 2/ evolved would upend and Vegeta's easier when because of wrathful and then Super Saiyan blue wrathful Goku should be better versus kefla but Ultra Instinct still needed then during the Final Act mastered Ultra Instinct gets off the final blow vs jiren instead of Goku losing his power right before the finishing blow 17 gets to wish for almost sacrificing his life and all goes the same the end
I love your What Ifs. I keep thinking up fun "What Ifs" you could cover. : I know you keep wanting to come up with fun Buu arcs.... so hear me out. There's a lot of potential fun to be had in "What if Raditz and Nappa were brought back to life?". They have the same potential as any Saiyan... and therefore, have the potential to reach SSJ... and even more: God Ki. It can be up to you "when" they're revived, I'd think between Cell and Buu is a decent time to wish them back and begin their training under Vegeta, which would help him grow significantly more in power between the arcs. He would probably not even bother getting involved in the fights until after Majin Buu is born. Goku wouldn't have to be borrowed back. Food for thought =) Thanks for the fun vids.

He was only an Oozaru against Vegeta for like 10 seconds, there was not enough time for him to prove that he had any control.

If you think about it, the power boost would be less from the potential unlock because they are at higher power levels.
Ummm I was always under the impression that Ikari STACKED on top of other forms and techniques, rather than swapped with others. That’s part of what made Broly so dangerous and part of what made his SSJ form so OP.

What made Broly so dangerous was his constantly raising base Power, one of the most important parts of Saiyan transformations, since transformations only exist to raise your current base Power
You could see that in the beginning of the movie, Broly starting out getting absolutely dunked on by base Vegeta, but was eventually able to overwhelm super Saiyan Vegeta.
Goku doesn't have Broly's constant battle raising power, which would make the Ikari form pointless after super Saiyan

Cell Saga. Goku would have totally tried to mix the Ikari form with the super Saiyan form. Which would have made hit stronger than super Saiyan 3. Also, Cell would probably have had access to the Ikari form. Much respect to you my dude. But there is so much that could have been done here with it.

@@tajwarrahman250 well we know that super saiyan 2, is a two times multiplier compared to Super saiyan. Now considering the buff, we assume it’s perfected Super saiyan. Goku would probably want to master super saiyan and THEN add Ikari on top of it. Which would make a 10x multiplier on that version of super saiyan. So it would be 5x stronger than super saiyan 2. And Super saiyan 3 is said to be about 4x stronger than SsJ2

Why is Goku's potential boost so low, you say this should be a zenkai equivalent instead of his potential but why should it? You immediately go back and give Krillin his potential boost and Gohan more potential than in the original quite near 100x then you say this should makes sense since this unlocks potential but why didn't you do the same with Goku. In another What if (What if Goku killed Vegeta) you do this perfectly where Goku gets 60x which makes sense since it should be more than his zenkai boost since Saiyans has a lot of potential then Krillin gets his original 50x which makes sense its lower than a Saiyan's then Gohan gets 70x this also makes sense since it should be higher than a regular Saiyan's

I always wondered why Gohan never had that love of fighting from his Saiyan side, Especially since Goten and Trunks seem to have it (at least as kids). And that got me think thinking, I would really love to see your take on a what if where Gohan enjoyed fighting like Goku does.

But goten and trunks probably enjoy it due to vegeta raising trunks and chi-chi being more accepting of goten fighting and even training him.

Dude this story was amazing.. i honestly wish there were more writers like you at toei😂. I really hope they do something with the ikari form it’s something different than ss which some people are tired of and it delves more into sayain instinct and I think it would just be cool to see goku and vegeta access. Shoot it could even be a gateway for them to make ss4 canon. Even gohan accessing this for would be awesome. Nevertheless great story can’t wait for the next one.

Ikari form only useful to people like broly and cumber who have massive battle power in their base state. Even current goku not vegeta can't utilize it since their base battle power is complete joke against broly
I would argue that the Ikari form would lead to changes when Super Saiyan comes into play, from them trying to use both Saiyan born powers. Which, given SSJ4....

Goku can't use ssj and kaioken because ssj is too volatile IIRC and Ikari is an even more violent state so it makes sense that he can't do kaioken and Ikari; What doesn't make sense is that he can't mix Ikari and ssj for an even more powerful state like broly can.
I was going to ask where dende was through this, but I forgot he obviously would of been killed by dodoria due to how gohan couldn't of stalled their attack. Dang.

I was thinking about this the other day and this came up in my recommended
I wanted to recommend a few "What-Ifs" here that I would love to see you make:
1. What if Goku obtained UI while fighting Beerus? (Right after Beerus said "You are not the rival I was looking for." After he falls into the ocean, he goes back up but as UI Omen)
2. What if Goku was born with UI: Remake (I know you already talked about this, but I wanted to see this remade. This is because it is stated by Whis that UI uses God-Ki. In short, how strong you make Goku, he would still be sent to Earth as the scouter reads his power as "0" in Ultra Instinct. This means that you could give Goku a strong body, as the scouter won't read him no matter what)
3. What if Goku married Bulma instead?
4. What if Chi-Chi became a Saiyan?
5. What if Goku had Gohan's potential? (It is possible that Goku would die on planet Vegeta, but baby Gohan wasn't all that strong naturally. So because of this I could still possibly see Goku being sent to Earth)
6. What if Carthu was in Dragon Ball as a Saiyan?
I wanna see that’s first one and the third one. Wonder what gokus kids would be like with bulma?

I've got an idea for a 'What If'. I'm not sure if you have a plan for this idea, but I'm curious.
Here is my idea: What if Gohan went Super Saiyan during the Frieza Saga? More specifically, sometime during the battle with Frieza, like Dende got killed by Frieza, Gohan thought back to the loss of the others during the battle with Nappa and Frieza in which Dende's death then pushes him to transform into a Super Saiyan.
What happened if Gohan was the first to transform into a Super Saiyan?

Now I'm even more curious about how the rest of Z, Super, and GT would've been altared if the only thing that changed is Vegeta never got it through his head to train and spent the entire Dragonball franchise getting stronger through nothing but zenkai boosts. But I just recently thought of another what if that I think you'll really like. What if King Kai did not forget about the amount of time Goku needed to run back to Earth on Snake Way, and as a result, Goku was there to help fight against Vegeta and Nappa from the very start?

did anybody notice how in the broly movie, broly was seemingly gaining a fair bit of control in his ikari form? While initially he was losing his shit, screaming like a caveman and pounding away at everything in his way, after broly had beaten down goku and goku powered up to blue, it seemed like broly had gained some control, which could explain why at some moments broly was seemingly smiling at goku's strength. Almost as if broly was having a bit of fun fighting goku, he was even able to pay attention to friezas words when frieza killed brolys father and shouted "BROLY LOOK!".
(Most of this was mic talk so if the is anything funny with spelling blame google) Post Story: Goku and gohan train during the three-year time skip given Gohan ikari same with future Gohan Plus Future Trunks( Gohan still dies in the future for story purposes) but he still uses Super Saiyan like per story but it would just make trunk a bit stronger all goes the same until the cell versus Goku, during the fight Goku realizes he can't win instead of giving up and turning to Gohan he tries a mixture of ikari and Super Saiyan something that he was trying to do during the time chamber Ark inside of the time chamber Goku and Gohan trained to try mixing them together for even more powerful transformation when Gohan turns Super Saiyan 2 Goku stop training ikari Super Saiyan and focused on Super Saiyan 2 so after he starts whooping cell with a 500 times multiplier the 10 times from ozaru and fifty from Super Saiyan cell trys to explode himself so Goku still sacrifices himself then after Gohan defeat cell like the show when babidi minions try to attack and Supreme Kai frieza's Gohan it does not work because since Gohan has Atari and Super Saiyan 2 he is too strong to stop and with that power Majin Buu gets released early just by the energy emitting from Gohan not even directly stealing it from him so Super Saiyan 3 Goku plus Atari Super Saiyan 2 Gohan fights boo and wins no rest of the Ark they are too strong beerus comes along a few years later and still beats Goku and rest but during the freezer Saga with even more training from wiss golden Frieza did not stand a chance same for hit Goku black would not have ikari form because of his British superiority stopping him from his "elegant rage" so vageta just Kills goku black during the first fight before zamasu gards him then they go back to the past to get something to seal zamasu and now the tournament of power ocean goes the same up until Ultra instinct with both him and being even more powerful Ultra Instinct sign should last a bit longer so Goku get off the punch nothing changes I just want to add that toppo versus Vegeta Super Saiyan blue 2/ evolved would upend and Vegeta's easier when because of wrathful and then Super Saiyan blue wrathful Goku should be better versus kefla but Ultra Instinct still needed then during the Final Act mastered Ultra Instinct gets off the final blow vs jiren instead of Goku losing his power right before the finishing blow 17 gets to wish for almost sacrificing his life and all goes the same the end

I know you keep wanting to come up with fun Buu arcs.... so hear me out.
There's a lot of potential fun to be had in "What if Raditz and Nappa were brought back to life?".
They have the same potential as any Saiyan... and therefore, have the potential to reach SSJ... and even more: God Ki. It can be up to you "when" they're revived, I'd think between Cell and Buu is a decent time to wish them back and begin their training under Vegeta, which would help him grow significantly more in power between the arcs. He would probably not even bother getting involved in the fights until after Majin Buu is born. Goku wouldn't have to be borrowed back.
