What brand/model is that hull? It looks tough as nails and has a great shape from the semi-V bow all the way to the transom. Would be cool to see a jet tunnel version of this!
It was very loose on the water, like driving on ice but now the deck and fit out is finished it handles far better than expected. She just needed some weight.

Sounds like you need a bit more weight to the boat or to lower the drive unit just a bit...bad cavitation at the top end?
It's all sorted now , once the batteries and floor went in , plus trolling motor it added the extra weight

Rap it in fibre glass paint it white with some horrible fluro stripes and you got a seadoo speedster

Once the weight went in with batteries and such , it dropped it much lower in the water
