I just saw the northern lights for the first time yesterday due to the major 2 day storm and let me tell ya, it’s beautiful! Cameras make them seem more colorful so don’t be let down when they seem more pastel in person, just know that. Still very amazing to see in person, it’s like when you see a rain cloud in the distance falling onto the ground but colors instead of rain. Truly magical.

It is when I first saw it I was blown away I felt like I wasn't on earth anymore it was amazing
There were heavy Sunstorms. We had Northern Lights almost down here in Germany. They were very small, but I could see them. But this Northern Lights are so beautiful and incredible strong. I have Goosebumbs when I see them and hear your joy and enthusiasm. 😊

@@randomguy7446 No, I'm living in North Rheine Westphalia in Germany. We could see Northern Lights here. There were Photos in Newspapers, because it's very rare down here.
Living in Iceland, so seeing Northern Lights is common. Still fascinated by them every time,. especially when they are this strong and colourful.
Sometimes I dance with them, because they are so beautiful to see ❤😊
Strange thing is, I could never found out what our forelders thought they are, heard not one single story about that.
So I made my own story about it, with Dragon Spirits and such 🥰
Ps: one can hear Northern Lights too, they sound like the faint crackling of energy lines in the frost

When i stepped out of my front door and seen the lights i was so awestruck. It was so beautiful 😍 it lit up our sky for hrs. The pinks, purples and greens were so beautifully vibrant.

@@standingout34 it is and it is not. some of the colors are not visible to the human eye and they are only this vibrant on camera. it can be an underwhelming experience if you didn’t know that. I mean it’s still beautiful and I think everyone should get to see it at least once in their life
I love my families alot but I have a feeling my families won't even know how glorious this is to see the northern lights in real life, my parents raised me well to be able to learn and study about the northern lights so I hope one day, I could be able to take them and travel to go see the northern lights together
The one time I saw them in '96 in northern Michigan, it was one of the most amazing and mesmerizing things I have ever seen. Just stood there looking up at the sky for over an hour.

My Grandfather was Swedish and my Finnish born Grandmother was Aina Aurora. Seeing this awesome sight I sincerely hope they saw this many times in their youth before they immigrated here to America. Thank you so much for all of your work in sharing with us the endless beauty of Sweden.

These are the best visuals I've ever seen of the Northern Lights! They practically look rhree dimensional here!! I've seen them fairly often but because I lived at a more southerly latitude, they were never so spectacular.

I had a volunteer English teacher in a charity institution in my country when I was eight. I don't remember where she was from but I remember that she showed us pictures of northern lights and some ice statues from a festival as it is done in her home country. I was amazed to see those beauties since there was no android phones back then or a pc in my house. She is the reason why I got in love with this language and kept learning. Her smile was the brightest 😊
