      It’s my brothers old race bike, we were able to find it, and get it back (one of our motocross buddies had it). We did a restoration on it, at least the best we could, it is really hard to find parts! It is really cool for sure.

    Does this new jacket get warmer than the older versions??

    • @WheelsGunsShoes
      @WheelsGunsShoes  Год назад +2

      That is a great question. But I haven’t actually used the jacket in cold weather yet. My gut instinct says that the fabric itself is probably going to insulate a bit better than the previous version. I believe the heating element is the same. Meaning same size and heat intensity. But since it seems to be made a bit loose compared to the previous generation , the heating element might not be as effective. Because you want a heating element as close to your body as possible without any layers in between. Once I start to use the jacket this winter I will do a update video!

    I'm curious about the mini bike barely visible the left side of the screen. What is it?

    the hand warmers are still in this new jacket?

    • @WheelsGunsShoes

      Milwaukee has 4 jackets. The axis (one in this video), toughshell, hoodie, and the vest (in either toughshell or axis). The axis never had any heated pockets. The toughshell on the other hand is the one with the headed pockets. I don’t have a review on the toughshell unfortunately, but I did go to Milwaukees website to look and it seems the toughshell still has the heated pockets. The toughshell doesn’t seem to be updated either, meaning it is the same jacket as last year. Thank you for watching!

    Curious as to why they got rid of the fitted cuffs and different color leds. 🤔 Where's the upgrade to this jacket compared to last year's m12 heated jacket?

    • @WheelsGunsShoes
      @WheelsGunsShoes  Год назад +1

      I was wondering the same thing, but I think the outside maybe more durable compared the the previous version. My pervious one seemed to rip easy. Only time will tell if this is true though. I was very disappointed about the cuffs and the color leds, for the price of the jacket you should get all the bells and whistles….

      I agree with the bells and whistles I couldn't imagine not having the fitted cuffs on my camo m12 definitely helps keep the cold out thanks for the video I subbed and liked.

      Wait no more fitted cuffs? That’s bummer. One of the reasons I liked the old model. Stays snug

      @@WheelsGunsShoes that inside liner was weak and my inside pockets always ripped on these jackets but the outside was usually solid
      I don't think much else changes this year

    Any updates on the quality?

    • @WheelsGunsShoes
      @WheelsGunsShoes  6 месяцев назад

      The quality is fine. I prefer a lot of the old one. Especially the no hood, the cuffs, and the color change on the heat indicator. Just pressing the buttons on the new one is a pain in the ass. I never seem to be able to just press them. I have to “work” at it. The old one was easy I didn’t even have to look.
      If I could I would probably just buy an older version, with the new material. The new material seems warmer, I would say same durability.
      Another note is that a lot of people complemented me on the old jacket and just liked it. Not so much with the new one. Everyone wanted to know what kind of jacket and where to get it with the old one.
