I have an Alpha speedmaster homage watch with the same movement. The winding mechanism broke after 10 months. You can still wind the watch and it will run but you can only wind it about 20 turns before you feel a click and the crown then spins freely.

Nice looking dial but pricey for the movement. I have a Seagull 1963 with the same movement and sapphire crystal. Paid $138 for it new.

Was it tested? Did it come with a guarantee?

@@TalkingTimepieces Mine came with a 12 month guarantee. I've had it for a year and it performs flawlessly and runs at -1 sec/day. Sounds like yours needs regulation @ + 11 sec/day. All ST1901 movements come out of the same factory and are directly related to the Venus movement from the 1940s.

Its pricey for the design and vibe.. Baltic makes patek like watches at a reasonable price. The movement may be chinese but assembled and regulated in france. Its really a great watch for the price
