1. Long Lead Uppercut
2. Long Rear Uppercut
3. Bolo Punch

The fact that Shane takes his time every week to make really helpful boxing and MMA videos is just amazing
Matt Nemec yeah he’s a solid guy! Very thorough in his explanations too
"click that subscribe button" *awkward wait with the same energy as when dora asks you a question* "did you click it?"
That one dislike deserves all 5 Uppercuts
Seriously who dislikes videos like this
@@MrTimurLP pacifists
@@MrTimurLP I’d assume people with different opinions on how an UpperCut should be set up or used. Maybe just the average hater. Who knows
I thought it was obvious, just to be the first one to dislike, that's it.
But if you don’t like it than don’t watch it
Tony Ferguson the type of dude to lead with a bolo uppercut and follow up with a jab
This is such an underrated comment😂😂😂😂
Advanced tip: watch your opponents reaction. If your opponent ducks when you throw the overhand right, feint it, then of course what you have open is the uppercut. A great example of this you could study is Juan Manuel Marquez vs Juan Diaz, he executes this technique to textbook perfection.
Works well for opponents who bob and weave a lot too. A lot of fighters, especially pressure fighters, have that up and down kind of forward movement to slip jabs while they try to walk you down. If the jab isn't landing, an uppercut will stop them right in their tracks.
The slip uppercut is something every boxer/fighter should have in his arsenal. SO DEADLY.
Simba canelo Alvarez
Vince with clean fade as always 🔥
Great video shane, been here since the early days. Only things missing is the famous mantra “ violence is not cool and bullies suck”
Boxing coach died sunday, glad I still got vids like these to keep me sharp
Jack Scaro sorry to hear that jack make him proud!
I really appreciate your focus on the basics. I have found a lot of success employing the techniques in your videos on how to land shots, and how to counter them during sparring. Most importantly I've found being able to land, and beat the jab has opened up many combinations.
The best chanel for fights in youtube thanks shane! 👌
Amazing Shane *(and the Anomaly). You guys are de best!!!!
The bolo punch of Shane at 4:09 is well executed
Awesome setups!
Nice vid I was actually going to ask for this

Thanks Shane!!
Beautiful techniques.
Thanks for the tips Shean, real shit
That was great 👍🏿 Shane
I will definitely utilize these techniques.
Thank you brother gives me lots of tachnic upercut
Do a video about changing stances between combos!!! More and more popular these days for fighters to use both stances!
Shane you're the best love your videos
Thank u for this
Awesome ✊🏼
I’m going to be using this for thrill of the fight vr. Videos going public soon. Love your channel, btw. Gonna subscribe even though I’ve subscribed on my other account.
i like starting combos with that long uppercat/upside down jab. money. i keep my right hand pretty low so it seems to come out of nowhere.
This was a great video. On the bolo one, you mentioned feinting or tricking your opponent into thinking one shot. Can you make a video where you show techniques on how to fake or conceal other striking?
Maza aa Gaya. Waah Bhai Shane.
Great job as always, guys! Curious though; what are the bare knuckle versions of these if you’re caught in a street fight with no gloves? Would you just use different punches entirely, or the same methods just going with your gut on how to hit them with out gloves? Once again, awesome work and thanks so much for the indepth explanation!
Thanks.

Awesome! Worst punch to get hit with in sparring by far. Great video also for recognizing opponents techniques and enable you to defend getting your head snapped back constantly.

Shane: NO
That bolo punch hardbody
My Favourite punch!
Sweet haircut Mr.Anomaly
Hi Shane! Could you do a shin guard guide for muay thai / kickboxing? Preferably with some suggestions straight away and budget options for beginners. Thanks a lot
Hey Shane! I have my first boxing fight in a week. Can you do a video on tips to win your first fight!
He does have a video on it i believe
Hey Shane, could you make a feedback about boxing gloves with extended cuffs. I have to buy new ones but the're expensive and I've heard very different opinions on them. I don't know whats right or wrong.
Some Duran with that clench work, nice 👍
*I have a feeling*
your views will boost because of the KSi vs. Logan fight

Hi Shane 😎 I'm just one of your 2.42mil subscribers
I said 2.42mil because i know you'll get more subs because you're legit
Hey Shane u should do more videos with Pj
Fuckin amazing uppercut setup!
WHEN YOU GONNA SELL THE GLOVES AGAIN I BEEN WAITING ALL YEAR 😭
If you sleep the cross I like throwing that punch to the liver as opposed to the head, almost a guarantee to land and can do a lot of damage
I was told by a Coach that to sometimes try to “bounce” the punch off the opponent’s chest when throwing upwards.
Beau Jack is the fighter famous for that bolo punch 🥊
Finally! I fucking hate performing Upper Cuts since they feel awkward as hell for me. This was helpful
Cool.......
Bolo bro checking in
🔥🔥🔥
Hi Shane! You talked about on the uppercut videos that the long uppercut is just like throwing an upside down jab. Is it still the same? Thank you, sir!
Can you do some sparing videos
One I've landed a lot in sparring is a double slip followed by an uppercut. The opponent doesn't even have to throw on you to do it. Slip right, then left, and throw the left uppercut
Another one similar to the number 1 you showed is when you throw a jab and they slip to the outside of your jab and you catch then with right uppercut. Or when they duck their head and u just fire the uppercut both rear and lead
Can I have the link for that uppercut video with Drian Fransisco? Couldn't find it.
Can you make some south paw videos
Wery good
No cap dawg I was boxing this kid bigger than me and i watched a few of your videos and trained my hardest for like a week and i ended up winning the fight
Hey Shane, what's your take on a right handed southpaw? I find that I gain 3 things:
1. A fiendish front hook from my right
2. An accurate, powerful jab
3. A strong uppercut
4. Vastly improved movement
The only drawback I see is losing that bomb of a right cross. Your input will be appreciated.
The only
Seetsa Molapo I experimented with southpaw as I am a right handed orthodox fighter. What I noticed is that I began to fight with one hand. My rear left hand felt awkward and slow so I naturally started using it less. I also noticed I was getting hit with a lot more right hands from my orthodox sparring partners. With a lot of practice it could be very doable but be prepared to get rocked while figuring it out. Just my experience tho try it a little and see what you think
can you make a right hook one? my left hook is alright but my right hook is sloppy af
What about the tiger uppercut?
Read my mind
My favorite is number 3 reminds of a shot Canelo landed of Cotto during their fight
I Shane iam from India i like your videos
You thinking Kid Gavillan not Cerafino Garcia .. Great video
Haha Alexander Palmer is my coach’s coach!!
Shane, I'm a student of Kung Fu. I love striking and I have zero ground game. You've said in previous street-fight videos that, "if you feel comfortable on the ground, keep the fight on the ground. If you feel comfortable on your feet, keep the fight on your feet." can you please make a video about how to do that exactly? How to keep the fight on my feet and maybe how to escape / recover back to my feet when the fight gets to the ground? Thanks.
Straight up memorize and practice all Fight Tips's Tips and add em to your movement n musclememory and you gona be a champ one day
How’s your day been Shane ?
I was getting beat up intel i found this chanl now nowon wonts to fite thanks
i beg to differ sir... you just went 5 rounds with spell check
@@jonritchey8653 intel u fite him!
I’ve actually landed the slip uppercut and gotta say hands down one of the deadliest uppercuts. Unfortunately gave my opponent a minor concussion
Esteban Munoz the only uppercut i ever landed was in mortal kombat nintedo in 94’
injun sniper 😭
@@injunsniper ey man, That still counts! Lol. 😁🤣
@@injunsniper Did they fly off the bridge into the spikes?
Then you woke up
Can you do a video on how to use a cross? ( Not how to do a cross, its how to use or how to land. )
love Vince's fake reactions to the fake punches
The uppercut for me has been the hardest punch to learn and thanks for posting these videos guys
Should record some sparring where you fire these shots just to show how they can work in a fight. Great video though!
Brasil 🇧🇷
right
As a beginner whats the first I shud do? What kinda of basics and beginner training? What type of mindset to have? How many hours a day for a newbie like me? Someone please tell me
Hey Shane... can you do a video analyzing Canelo Álvarez fighting stance? He’s the greatest boxer imo..
grandma don’t know what she got coming
Ceo of originality don’t know what he got coming
Zeferino Garcia was a Philipino world Champion... Kid Gavilan was the famous right hand machete form uppercut born in Cuba.
Where can I find good combinations as a tall southpaw fighter
Also when u slip the jab you can use a right hook to the body then right uppercut to the chin.
Very similar to the way Mike Tyson used it
Logan Paul probably watched this before the fight
Did Conor Mcgregor not do a lot of bolo punches? Especially in his 1st Ufc fight against Marcus Brimmage
Key to landing the Slip Uppercut is timing fr.
👍👍👍👍
man i feel bad for vincent

Think Conor McGregor used Bolo punches in his UFC debut against Marcus Brimage
Conor McGregor did the bolo punch really well
