It’s not like I was out there every day doing this; I had to give my hands time to heal. But, as soon as the bruises were gone, and I had time to train on my tree, I was back out there. Shane, you were ahead of the game even back then. IMPRESSIVE.
I had bullied in school but that get me into 20 years of sveral striking styles and 7 years of bjj. Maybe i should thank my bullies to sent me on the warriors path.
And I had to walk to school uphill both ways, in the snow, carrying 150 pounds of ice, in the middle of summer, where a Siberian tiger was waiting to kick my ass back up the hill to make me walk all the way back up again.
I do something like this but on bench with different weights in my hands at the end of my set I’d throw the last 10 like I would a straight jab with 20pds in my hands, after a month of that my punches felt like my arms were weightless, I gained fast twitch muscle fibers and started hitting like a truck. Being only 130 pounds at the time..
When you throw the punch, for maximum effectiveness, it has to be coming from the balls of your feet, moving up to your twisting waist where it starts to transfer the power,, continuing to your shoulder where it continues to torque as it turns and snaps at impact. That is, simply put, the mechanics of a good, powerful punch. ✌️ 🔥
Another fight tip from a little dude thrown into gladiator camp... Swing and don't stop. If you connect, don't stop. If they connect, don't stop. As bad as what I am about to say sounds, sometimes the difference between a really bad loss and a win is your gameness. Your willingness to take and receive punishment. If you give up for even a second, it could be life alteringly bad. Also, bite, headbutt, kick, grab, twist, pull on anything that gets near some part of you that can hurt them. The name of the game is inflicting as much pain as possible in as fast a time as possible. Don't square up. Don't face off. Be absolutely willing to go from silent to menace without uttering a syllable. And remember kids. The people laughing with you today are the ones most likely to be trying to kill you tomorrow. It sounds like dork fantasy stuff when you aren't from these kinds of places. But when you have people near you who don't know if they will get the privilege of being full that day, you sort of have to be on your toes because you might be holding what they think is the key to literally more food. To this day, I am on a hair trigger. I don't really get mad easily. I get very scared, very quickly. Any time someone approaches me aggressively, I assume I am in danger and need to do whatever is asked to survive that danger. Running is, in fact, option A for me every single time. Fighting until my heart gives out is my last resort. Fighting until your heart gives out is my preference. Never having to deal with crazy ass people ever again would be nirvana.

Shane, you were ahead of the game even back then. IMPRESSIVE.
Great short, and cool exercise
I had bullied in school but that get me into 20 years of sveral striking styles and 7 years of bjj. Maybe i should thank my bullies to sent me on the warriors path.
Long story short you’re super duper tough and strong😂
And I had to walk to school uphill both ways, in the snow, carrying 150 pounds of ice, in the middle of summer, where a Siberian tiger was waiting to kick my ass back up the hill to make me walk all the way back up again.
Damn your form on these plyo pushups is crazy. Landing and not even breaking posture in the slightest.
"One hundred push ups, one hundred sit ups..."
Nice tip gonna start doing plyo push ups now and cool watch what watch is that?
teaching through story is cool...i really appreciate it
"As many explosives as possible"
Me: *laying on the couch caught up in a daydream about my bullies asking me to punsh them*
Makes sense ! Lower body Plyometrics would greatly help too considering you punch with your whole body !!
Young Shane: I don’t get bullied… I get results.
This is easy stuff you will learn in your first boxing lessons bc this is absolutely a legit way to build your power
Thank u for actually telling us instead of redirecting us to a website to get a “free” training program
Imagine if you thrown hands at Lance before the big kid said anything.
Get low+ rotate hips= mike Tyson Gforc
Start at the bottom push your way to the top.
Instead of starting at the top.
It is better to rotate not just starting at arms straightened.
Dustin porier has perfected the "rolling up of shorts' technique.
Dude's childhood was so rough he still has his baby teeth.
New sub, Bro!! 😎 👍🏾
Tough first day at Harvard.
Now i need to look up plywood pushups
Great narration.
"The gold hearted bully doesn't exist, he can't hurt you"
Jake: but you can hurt me.
That's explosive strength, right there. Not emphasized enough, for fighting.
thank you for the secret now i can punch through trees
Bro looks like the Gotham chess of fighting
Explosive strength is important.
Cool story, thanks Shane!
I was bullied heavily too
Yessir 💪 plyo push-ups ‼️
Times have changed kids nowadays don't want to be tough anymore they just emptional and have so much to say
*And that is why Calisthenics is King! 👑*
Eddie hall shattered Francis ngannous punch record and Alex pereiras record practically without doing any calisthenics and with all weights (retired and not as heavy as he was). whatever works works, there is no best
