  • A brief ~240km trip from The Lake Goldsmith steam rally to our last overnight stop at the Campaspe Lodge, in Echuca.
The original Echuca plan was to visit the Holden museum, but it closed permanently a few weeks before our trip. The next plan was to visit the "the Great Aussie Beer Shed & Heritage Farm Museum", apparently a fantastic attraction, unfortunately not open on Mondays. Our accommodation (booked for its proximity to the Holden Museum) gave us a discount at a nearby cafe, also closed on Mondays...
We also didn't think we'd get to ride on a paddle steamer! The internet told me there were no tickets available, but we had learnt at the steam rally that there are two competing paddle steamer companies!
We got ourselves a ticket on the first ride of the day!
It was great! We had a lovely chat with the skipper, he knew about the steam rally and knew the Durham family. He'd also spotted us and our three-wheeler whilst we were filming in the port of Echuca.
After the paddle steamer ride we had to travel 551km to get home from Echuca, the longest single days drive our Reliant Rialto has done for at least ten years!
It was a lot of fun making these videos, hope you enjoy watching them!
